JOB SUMMARY


We are looking for an experienced digital learning professional to join a world class learning function. You will work alongside a team of dedicated and innovative HR professionals, having the opportunity to contribute to the development of an overarching digital learning strategy. 

 

Reporting to the Head of Learning Technology, you will be contributing to the ongoing delivery of technology projects and programmes in the Learning Technology space while managing the ongoing stability and roadmap of our learning platforms. This would include ongoing project and programme management (planning, scheduling, budget control, resourcing), working with relevant risk and compliance teams to secure all necessary approvals and inputs, and managing stakeholders across businesses and functions.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy
•    Work with the Head of Learning Technology to establish and drive the learning platform strategy including monitoring ongoing trends, evaluating new capabilities and establishing/driving the platform road map.  
•    Work with stakeholders to identify key needs and drive platform improvements to meet these needs.
•    Work closely with wider HR teams to enable our learning platforms to support our wider skills agenda.  

Business
•    Effectively manage various learning technology projects (app development, platform releases, simulation/game/eLearning development, platform integrations) by developing appropriate project plans and trackers, managing project budgets and timelines, ensuring appropriate resourcing, efficiently managing stakeholders, and preparing necessary stakeholder reporting data. 
•    Support vendor driven deliveries and releases to ensure bugfixes or enhancements are understood and tested efficiently. This would also include communicating platform changes/new features to the wider organisation. 
•    Operate within an agile environment to deliver solutions rapidly and to scope.

Processes
•    Create, implement and disseminate new processes relating to access management, reporting and request management. 

 

People & Talent
•    Act as lead on multiple projects (ranging in scale) while providing guidance, mentorship, and training for more junior colleagues.
•    Establish and develop relationships with wider Technology team to promote synergy and tech convergence. 
•    Establish and manage vendor and partnership relationships.

 

Risk Management
•    Navigate risk and compliance controls associated with new technology releases and deployments.

 

Governance
•    Work with wider teams throughout Technology and HR to establish and enforce governance 

 

Regulatory & Business Conduct

•    Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. 
•    Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. Our Ideal Candidate

•    8+ years' experience leading projects within the learning and development space. 
•    Experience in navigating complex risk and compliance environments to successfully deploy new technologies and projects. 
•    Experience working with saba lms, edcast lxp, scorm simulations, app development and lms integrations.
•    Knowledge of the use of AI in learning and development would be advantageous.
