Title: Director, PvB Servicing & Transacting CoE

RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy
• Contribute to overall WRB Operations strategy
• Set strategic goals for Pvb S&T Operations team and guide teams for achieving results
• Support growth and development opportunities for talent management and retention
• Engage key stakeholders and support functions for strategic initiatives and transformation
Business
• Enable and encourage continuous improvement initiatives for delivering end to end superior client experience and value proposition for both client and bank
• Client obsession and Identify strategic opportunities for transformation of service standards
• Support and lead change initiatives and provide feedback for change proposals
• Deliver sustainable cost saves and service levels on par with or superior to competition
Processes
• Be the key enabler for the engineering of new processes or reengineering of existing processes and facilitate its rollout with associated change initiatives.
• Ensure clear update and rollout of Global Service Standards and associated DOIs
• Seek all necessary approvals from OR / FR / Legal / Compliance / Country COOs prior to rollout as program governance standard requirements.
• Digitization of processes is a strategic objective of this role bringing in a transformation from Multi-touch to single touch to zero touch processing.
People & Talent
• Ensuring talent on boarding and retention with succession plan in place for key roles and maintaining healthy bench-strength and leadership pipeline
• Ensuring framework for objective performance assessment of all team members
• Ensuring right-skilling among team members and training /certification for specific roles
• Enabling a conducive environment for people including effective engagement
• Empowering with appropriate delegated authorities
Risk Management
• Proactive identification, preventive controls and mitigation of key process / operational risks
• Strong detective controls and continuous learning and fixing from risk incidents
• Ensuring timely reporting of risk items as per the Group Risk Management Framework
• Drive risk management initiatives across the unit resulting in minimal or zero breaches and zero regulatory breaches whether data related or others
• Ensuring adherence to all Group Policies and Procedures
Governance
• Responsible for assessing the effectiveness of the Group’s arrangements to deliver effective governance, oversight and controls in the business and, if necessary, oversee changes in these areas
• Displays awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role
• Responsible for delivering ‘effective governance’; capability to challenge fellow executives effectively;
Other Responsibilities
• Group S&T COE Function
• Delivery of key objectives for PvB S&T as a part of the Fit for Growth (FFG) program.

• Education Undergraduate / post graduate in engineering science, business or finance with 10+ years of experience
