JOB SUMMARY
The Director, Sales Performance is a responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing data led sales programs across all Affluent Banking segments. This role is pivotal in driving the collection, usability, and awareness of frontline metrics, in addition to the statistical analysis of data to ensure 3000+ frontline sales FTE are deployed efficiently. This role is key in the “pivot to wealth” journey and will be a core part of the Group Affluent team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Metrics and Analysis:
• Scope sales related data sources, understand data structures and explore opportunities for standardisation, simplification, and augmentation.
• Ensure data is correct, current, and accessible to facilitate fast retrieval and application.
• Establish standardised key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sales initiatives across markets.
• Develop a standardised minimum set of sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and ensure targets are met or exceeded, leveraging best practices across the markets.
• Establish use cases and application of disparate data sets to gain productivity insights that will inform both group and market sales strategy.
• Analyse sales data and feedback to continuously improve sales programs and strategies.
• Ownership of developing and executing monthly / quarterly sales reports in addition to associated analysis / commentary.
• Accountable for the design and implementation of data quality controls.
Strategic Planning, Projects, and Execution:
• Collaborate with leadership to identify key priorities and initiatives that will drive sales performance, productivity, and growth.
• Own & execute strategic sales related projects as required.
Collaboration and Communication:
• Engage with markets to identify appropriate data sources, build compelling analysis and share best practice across markets.
• Cross-functional collaboration with marketing, product management, human resources, and other departments to ensure alignment and support for sales reporting and initiatives.
• Collaborate with external partners to explore best practice data analysis techniques and tools. Strong understanding of data analytics industry trends and new technologies.
Leadership:
• Communicate sales metrics / analysis at all levels of the organization in a professional, simple, and compelling manner.
• Influence key stakeholders using compelling data analysis and action-oriented commentary.
GOVERNANCE
Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.

Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Statistics or Data related field)
• Experience: 10 years proven experience in a senior data / analytics role, preferably in a global or multi-national financial services organization.
