The Executive Alumni Programme Lead is responsible for the end-to-end design, set-up, and delivery of the Bank’s Executive Alumni Programme. This role encompasses programme strategy, execution, governance, engagement, and cross-functional delivery to ensure a high-quality experience for former senior leaders and supports the Bank’s long-term leadership, brand, and relationship strategy.
This role offers a unique opportunity to shape a strategically important, high‑visibility programme that will enhance the Bank’s long‑term leadership, brand, and global network.In this role you will create revenue growth opportunities by designing and launching a best‑in‑class alumni proposition for former senior leaders, defining the strategy, operating model, engagement architecture, and signature experiences that will form the foundation of a multi‑year programme.You will work at the centre of cross‑functional collaboration, partnering with senior stakeholders across Strategy, Talent, Brand, CIB, and WRB to ensure a coherent, premium, and insight‑driven alumni experience that is aligned with our brand proposition.This role will require a deep commercial understanding, strong business network, strategic thinking, disciplined execution, and the ability to influence at senior levels.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategy & Programme Design:
• Develop and refine the programme strategy, operating model, value proposition, and success measures.
• Define alumni segmentation, engagement approach, and annual engagement plan starting with 2026.
• Contribute to the multi-year roadmap, including scaling and digital capability enhancements.
• Programme Delivery & Execution:
• Lead the set-up of the delivery team and oversee workstreams spanning brand, communications, data, CRM, events, and governance.
• Manage launch activities, including onboarding the launch cohort and delivering the first flagship event.
• Oversee the delivery of the 2026 programme of events and engagement moments.
• Ensure a premium and consistent alumni experience across all touchpoints.
• Data & Insights:
• Oversee CRM set-up, data models, and analytics requirements.
• Track engagement metrics and use insights to enhance the offering and improve decision-making.
• Ensure alumni feedback informs future content, themes, and strategic priorities.
Function specific:
Stakeholder Management:
• Build strong internal partnerships with cross-functional teams, such as CEO Office, CABM, Talent Acquisition to design and implement deliver the programme
• Partner with senior leaders in CIB and WRB to drive alignment and secure support for the programme.
• Business Engagement:
• Collaborate with various business functions (CIB / WRB) to integrate alumni engagement efforts with broader business objectives.
• Facilitate cross-functional initiatives that leverage alumni relationships to support business growth opportunities.
• People and Talent
• Set and monitor responsibilities for colleagues supporting delivery of the role objectives and key results, ensuring that continuous, balanced feedback is provided in line with performance goals
• Risk Management
• Ensure effective first line identification, management, monitoring and reporting of risks is undertaken in line with the Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF) in a way that is consistent with the authority and responsibilities of the role.
• Governance
• Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
• Maintain oversight of appropriate governance and controls, as they relate to the roles objectives and key results, and if necessary propose / implement changes.
• Engage with relevant audit report findings and ensure feedback is acted upon.

Skills and Experience
Our Ideal Candidate

8+ years of experience in designing and launching strategic, relationship‑led programmes (e.g., alumni, client, or executive networks) with measurable commercial impact.

Strong strategic thinking capabilities, able to define a multi‑year vision, operating model, and roadmap for a global alumni proposition.

Deep commercial acumen and market awareness, with the ability to identify and convert alumni engagement into revenue growth opportunities.

Highly effective stakeholder manager, with experience influencing and partnering with senior leaders across multiple functions (Strategy, Talent, Brand, CIB, WRB or similar).

Demonstrated strength in customer/experience design, creating premium, insight‑led engagement journeys and signature experiences aligned to a global brand.

Excellent execution and programme management skills, with disciplined planning, governance, and follow‑through in complex, cross‑functional environments.
