Job Summary
We are hiring for a leadership role within Emerging Payment to head up the Subledger and Networks team. Overall accountability is to lead the DLT-native (Distributed Ledger Technology) sub-ledger and network strategy for Emerging Payments, establishing the golden source of truth for tokenized bank-issued instruments, liabilities and assets, and ensuring downstream processes, reporting and enterprise integrations are supported end-to-end. The role also defines network and distribution strategy, develops commercially viable partnerships, and applies the Digital Assets product principle of being network agnostic and strategically selective
DLT-Native Sub-Ledger Strategy, Ownership and Architecture
• Own the vision, strategy and business requirements for the DLT-native sub-ledger as the foundational record for tokenised instruments, liabilities and assets across Emerging Payments propositions.
• Define the target operating model, data model, control requirements and governance standards so the sub-ledger operates as the golden source of truth with integrity, scalability, auditability and resilience.
• Translate product, finance, operations and control requirements into a prioritised roadmap, ensuring design decisions support future product expansion, interoperability and safe scaling of tokenized balance sheet use cases.
Key Responsibilities
Golden Source Operations, Reporting and Integration Enablement
• Ensure all downstream operational processes, controls, reconciliations, reporting and management information are supported by the sub-ledger, with clear ownership of data lineage, processing logic and exception handling.
• Partner with Operations, Finance, Risk, Compliance and Technology teams to ensure the sub-ledger supports booking, servicing, reporting, controls, client disclosures and integration into enterprise platforms and regulatory processes.

• Manage connectivity across both regulated institutional settlement networks (e.g. Partior, Swift Ledger, Agora, Ensemble, M-bridge etc.) and emerging public chain infrastructure, applying consistent governance and risk standards across both.
Governance, Commercial Execution and Cross-Functional Delivery
• Lead cross-functional delivery across Product, Technology, Operations, Finance, Risk, Legal and Compliance to bring sub-ledger and network capabilities into production safely, efficiently and in line with business priorities.
• Drive governance over roadmap sequencing, investment cases, third-party dependencies, controls and commercialization to ensure disciplined decision-making and transparent progress against strategic outcomes.
• Represent the business in senior forums, articulate strategic trade-offs and ensure operating, conduct and reputational risks are proactively identified, escalated and managed through delivery and run.
