JOB SUMMARY
Transaction and Treasury Management Solutions (TTS) are key pillars of SME Banking at Standard Chartered Bank. Responsible for the management and governance of TTS related platforms in SME Banking, this role will partner with AML CDD Ops, Digital Channels & Data Analytics (DCDA), WRB Digital Banking and Transaction Banking Implementation (TBIM) to drive seamless onboarding and implementation of the cash management and treasury products and services available to SME segment, and work with key markets to increase usage of the bank’s capabilities via our digital platforms.
With rapid digitalization driving all types of cash management and commercial treasury transactions, this group role position requires someone who has strong background in client due diligence knowledge discipline, multi cash products and platforms management experience, commercialization and execution track record for this fast pace business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy, Business, Processes
• Formulate and execute SME Banking TTS channel strategy globally across Cash and transaction-related FX. Adapt the bank’s channel solutions to meet the evolving needs of SME Banking clients. Collaborate with TB platform developers and WRB Digital Banking teams to identify and roll out digital features appropriate for SME customers globally.
• Bridge as a Group SME TTS subject matter expert between Country SME Markets and Transaction Banking, co-creating and maintaining suitable TTS channel-related product reference materials for SME sales teams and clients. Ensure the global sales force is trained and able to effectively sell digital banking capabilities. Set global volume and KPI targets, develop and deploy campaigns to ensure they are met.
• Ensure available TTS related platforms to SME segment are utilized for the appropriate client sets through cash deal reviews and regular product trainings. Also ensure that FCC/CDD related risk for TTS products and services are well-managed.
• Partner to drive effective end-to-end client onboarding and service delivery processes.
• Be the interface on client onboarding processes with Group AML CDD teams and in countries, for execution in compliance with regulations and the bank’s internal procedures for SME clients, and execution of remedial solutions.
• Contribute to Group’s Design and Control development of new/existing capabilities, target operating model and processes on a sustainable basis.
• Raise the bar through continuous improvements by innovation and migration of best practices across the network.
• Design, develop and utilize management information dashboards to monitor business performance and generate insights for timely action on FCC/CDD risk and actively reviewing countries / client feedback.
Risk Management
• Ensure available TTS related platforms to SME segment are utilized for the appropriate client sets through cash deal reviews and regular product trainings. Also ensure that FCC/CDD related risk for TTS products and services are well-managed.
• Design, develop and utilize management information dashboards to monitor business performance and generate insights for timely action on FCC/CDD risk and actively reviewing countries / client feedback.

Our Ideal Candidate
• Undergraduate degree
• 8 years experience in Cash Product Management or related business; regional exposure
• Multi cash product and related platforms knowledge and commercialization experience
• Background in AML CDD operations would be an advantage
• Strong execution skills with experience in dealing with complex issues across multiple jurisdictions and several senior stakeholders
• Ability to make connections between seemingly disparate parts, ability to identify risks and opportunities; able to influence and coordinate multiple internal stakeholders around a common goal
• A highly motivated self-starter with intellectual curiosity; attentive to details and strong analytical skills
• Excellent organizational and planning skills with proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Good interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization both internally and externally.
