JOB SUMMARY
Part of Transaction Banking, Escrow and Account Bank Solutions enables our Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) Clients to mitigate risks inherent in strategic transactions such as mergers & acquisitions (M&A), capital raising, joint ventures arrangements, purchase and sale of assets, goods and services through physical and digital channels, environmental guarantees, and real estate transactions.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a high growth business within Transaction Banking, Cash Product Management, the successful applicant will lead a high performing team of experts and grow our franchise globally.
Strategy
- Shape the global escrow solution product strategy to build a robust, sustainable, and diverse portfolio encompassing:
- Innovative capabilities to cater for variety of Escrow solutions
- Risk-return alignment with Bank’s appetite
- Product execution and service excellence
- Support position SCB’s brand recall in the escrow solutions business
Business
- Maintain operating rhythm with Transaction Banking regional teams, origination partners and investment bank teams to commercialise and grow the escrow and account bank pipeline
- Ensure appropriate support is provided to qualify opportunities, structure, price and fulfil client transactions by the relevant teams within prevailing risk parameters
- Maintain and develop "Go to market" resources as needed such as pitchbooks, industry credentials, product collaterals, website
- Establish SCB as a house brand for top CIB Clients amongst corporates, strategic investors and intermediaries
- Develop tailored mechanisms to seek periodic client feedback
Processes
- Understand, upkeep and upgrade the cross functional team, operating model and technology platforms to:
- Identify and improve areas of friction in the client journey
- mitigate potential failure points from a process or risk management standpoint
- Identify operational efficiencies and eliminate non-standard processes
People & Talent
Lead by example and work with a team of senior product managers and cross functional partners in different geographies and backgrounds to provide strategic and operating direction as needed to the overall benefit of the franchise
Index the business strategy to people and execution capacity by promoting culture of collaboration across functional ecosystem, regions and escrow champions
Risk Management
- Understand/ upkeep product programme, related country addendum ensure boundary criteria is applied to qualify opportunities and structuring transactions
- Execute new business within the framework of deal review policy, cash pricing guidelines and capabilities of the product
Governance
- Ensure basic housekeeping around revenues, financials, volumes as well as Client facing materials documentation etc are maintained.
- Work with countries to ensure governance framework is strictly followed at a deal level and that middle office activities are operating in compliance with established standards for risk mitigation including agreement negotiation & payments processing.
- Identify variations that arise from time to time and update product programme as needed.
- Ensure governance and risk management matters are brought to Group / Regional / Country governance and risk management committees, as appropriate.

Our Ideal Candidate
- 10+ years of experience in Investment banking and/ or cash management, securities services and/or Investment Banking
- Product Management experience (deposit, liquidity or payments) is a must
- Commercial Law experience will be a plus
- Strong stakeholder management skills both internal and external
- Experience in leading and managing a team is essential
- Seeking candidates with a robust background in technology and operations or a strong commitment to fully engage with these aspects of the role.
