Job Summary
• Originate & structure opportunities: Work with Global Markets and Structuring teams to create source and create bespoke structured products and loan investments (e.g., CLO tranches, private credit deals, FX , Rates and Commodity Structured Solutions, Leveraged Notes and AMCs).
• Distribute loans and credit exposure: Place syndicated loans, private credit deals, and securitized loan exposures with UHNW and family office investors seeking yield.
• Investor coverage: Build relationships with UHNW clients and family offices.
• Distribution & execution: Market transactions, explain credit and market risks and structure, and coordinate internally to complete allocations, documentation, and settlement.
• Ongoing client management: Provide portfolio updates, monitor performance, and source new structured solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy
• Support CIB/PvB Management to execute the Vertex strategy, creating a distinct identity and differentiated experience for our UHNW and Family Office clients
• Demonstrate expertise in providing holistic solutions, including but not limited to, applying Structured Product knowledge to provide bespoke solutions to UHNW and family office clients, enhancing client engagement and satisfaction which will drive and attract both flow and non-flow businesses.
• Drive our “One Bank” mission, focus on origination of One Bank transactions, build and convert pipelines – building and deploying strong links and synergies with CIB, product groups and functions etc.
Business
• Leverage on own Global Markets expertise to help target clients identify unique opportunities or situations, in particular originating bespoke structured solutions across Commodities, Rates, FX and Credit that are within the Bank’s target market and risk appetite.
• Work with Market Heads and Relationship Managers to identify target clients to distribute Structured Product and Structured Credit transactions. Jointly pitch investment ideas to clients, with RMs
• Partner with Market Heads/ Relationship Managers on originating suitable client opportunities, follow-up and follow-through:
o Identify & screen for potential One bank opportunities
o Coordinate deals and pitches with multiple stakeholders
o Diligent follow-up and follow-through on identified action items
o Coordinate teach-ins on new deals and liaise with CIB Syndicate to book-build.
o Coordinate Deal execution, internal coordination, reporting and follow-up with project teams
• Work together with other teams in meeting all compliance, regulatory, risk management, operational, and due diligence requirements and compliance with internal policies
• Prospect and onboard new UHNW, Single and Multi Family Office clients by building and strengthening internal (e.g. CIB) and external network.
Processes
• Coordinate the documentation, process and procedures of new and existing processes, products with
• Drive relevant approval processes (platform expansion, new products and capabilities) to improve our capability for serving Single and Multi-Family Offices, UHNW and Billionaire clients.
Risk Management
• Actively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk and compliance matters in a timely manner.
• Do what is right to avoid reputational risks and operational losses.
• Understand the risk and control environment within area of responsibility and drive rectification as required.
• Handle customer issues, complaints, and product enquiries on timely basis in accordance with established procedures.
• Ensure that Risk Management matters that are brought to attention are subject to direct remedial action and/or ensure adequate reporting to the relevant Risk Committees and/or line management.
Governance
• Responsible for assessing the effectiveness of the Group’s arrangements to deliver effective governance, oversight and controls in the team and highlighting gaps as appropriate.
• Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
• Ensure adherence with the highest standards of ethics and compliance with relevant policies, processes and regulations forms part of the culture.

Qualifications
• EDUCATION: Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or related discipline
• TRAINING: Extensive relevant experience in Structured Credit origination and distribution
