We're committed to promoting equality in the workplace and creating an inclusive and flexible culture - one where everyone can realise their full potential and make a positive contribution to our organisation. This in turn helps us to provide better support to our broad client base.

Purpose of the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and visionary leader to join the bank's Strategy & Talent (S&T) Chief Operating Office, as the Global Head of Transformation Capabilities for the function. This pivotal role is responsible for developing and enhancing the capabilities necessary to enable strategic transformation programs that drive business success.

The successful candidate will lead a team of change and transformation experts and continually develop their expertise to support the delivery of our most innovative and impactful initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in transformational leadership, change management, experience design, AI implementation and strategic planning, with a proven track record of leading large-scale transformation programs in a global setting.

The role holder will support global transformational initiative for Strategy & Talent (S&T) by:

•    Support the development of a high-standard and robust methodology where user experience design, process improvement, and change management are deployed in tandem across transformation programmes, complementing and interlinking with each other to ensure cohesive and effective outcomes, leveraging both quantitative and qualitative research input.
•    Engage at an enterprise level to integrate wider programmes of change as they apply to S&T.
•    Collaborate closely with other functions, such as Technology & Operations and Group Transformation, to ensure alignment and integration of transformation initiatives, and to deploy robust transformation capabilities and methodologies across the organisation.
•    Drive prioritisation and manage trade-offs across various programs when constraints related to time, budget, or resources necessitate it.
•    Provide transformation expertise to support the delivery of change initiatives across multiple functions, including HR, CABM, CRES, and SCM and navigate a complex stakeholder landscape, learning quickly and adapting to various functional areas to drive cohesive transformation efforts.
•    Support the deployment of strategic change initiatives by deploying resources where needed the most to deliver critical business outcomes.
•    Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in transformation and change management.
•    Establish relationships with external vendors to support thought leadership, benchmarking, and experiences to inform strategic change delivery and build the change capability across the various functions.
•    Develop an approach to support the deployment and adoption of emerging technologies, such as AI, and ensuring these are core to transformation and process reengineering.
•    Ensure oversight of our data and analytics team and further develop our data capability, and data offering, to drive decision-making, innovation, and competitive advantage.
•    Provide effective leadership by overseeing Transformational Change (TC) programmes, developing a broad and deep knowledge of all programmes.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in transformational leadership, change management, and strategic planning, with a proven track record of leading large-scale transformation programs in a global setting.
