Job Summary

Job Purpose
•    Part of Transaction Banking Cash, Deposits, Liquidity Management and Escrow Solutions team.
•    The team provides Cash Management solutions that include Cash Accounts, Savings Accounts, Client Account Solutions, 
     Sustainable Finance propositions, Liquidity Management and Escrow Solutions to CIB clients across the Bank’s geographies.
•    The TB Cash Product Manager role supports Global Liabilities Management in driving portfolio optimisation, pricing discipline, 
     and performance monitoring across the liabilities book. The role will drive deposit growth, ensure alignment with liquidity 
     frameworks and work with partners across different teams to deliver sustainable funding outcomes. 

Key Responsibilities

Global Remit for
Strategy
•    Balance Sheet Management 
•    Execute the liabilities product strategy aligned to bank-wide balance sheet and funding objectives
•    Drive deposit growth across currencies and client segments, optimizing portfolio mix. 
•    Translate liquidity and funding initiatives into actionable product interventions to support effective balance sheet execution.  

 

Business
Pricing management 
•    Support portfolio analysis across segments and currencies, ensuring alignment to commercial objectives. 
•    Monitor market developments and policy rate expectations, supporting pre and post decision communication.
•    Drive initiatives to improve portfolio and mix. 


Performance management and Analysis 
•    Portfolio analysis including balance movements, mix changes and client flows. 
•    Maintain active oversight of daily balance movements to support ongoing monitoring. 
•    Track portfolio KPIs, enhance reporting and derive actionable insights for the business. 
•    Investigate data anomalies in partnership with relevant teams, ensuring integrity and consistency of reporting.  
•    Support preparation of management updates. 

 

Processes
System and Platform enhancements
•    Support Portfolio Lead to drive execution of portfolio enhancements roadmap.
•    Participate in System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing and Post Validation review as required.

 

Commercialization 
•    Support initiatives linked to balance sheet optimisation and liquidity metrics.
•    Develop and maintain playbooks, training materials and client facing content.  
•    Support training, commercialization of initiatives including timely updates to internal platforms and sharepoint. 


People and Talent 
•    Build effective working relationships across functional teams to support delivery of Balance sheet initiatives.
•    Develop strong domain expertise and continuously strengthen analytical, commercial and product management capabilities. 
•    Contribute to a collaborative and inclusive team environment aligned to the Bank’s values.


Risk Management
•    Support Global Portfolio Lead across the various stages of product governance, from new product launch to product withdrawal (e.g Business case, Post implementation review)
•    Support product risk assessments and governance documentation updates.

Governance
•    Monitor regulatory developments across key markets and ensure alignment with internal liquidity policies. 
•    Support audit and regulatory reviews

•    Lead the CIB TB Global Deposits Product Management to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles: Fair

•    Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Our Ideal Candidate

•    Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Economics or related field; 
•    8+  years in banking ideally in Transaction banking / Balance Sheet management/ Product management 
•    Strong analytical and data interpretation skills. 
•    Strong understanding of balance sheet metrics and regulatory frameworks.  
•    Proficiency in Excel/ Tableau/ data tools; experience with reporting platforms. 
•    High attention to detail, structured thinking and ability to work across different functional teams.
