Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Lead Business Analyst to join our team to drive the business analysis & solutions for Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) Simplification Program.  This program is a is a key part of our global SCM transformation. This role is pivotal in delivering transformation change by simplifying and optimizing TPRM processes.

The ideal candidate is a TPRM SME and will have a strong analytical mindset, strong EQ and Risk and business engagement skills, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to think strategically to deliver committed business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Business Requirements Gathering

  • Engage with TPRM risk groups to understand their needs, challenges, and objectives.
  • Conduct detailed analysis and document business requirements to ensure clarity and completeness.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications for the technology delivery team.
  • Secure stakeholder approval and sign-off on business requirements
  • Develop and maintain a Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) that maps each requirement to its source, corresponding design elements, test cases, and implementation.

 

Solution Design and Optimization

  • Develop and propose optimal solutions to address the identified business requirements.
  • Ensure solutions align with the overall strategic goals and organizational strategy.
  • Collaborate with the technology delivery team to validate and refine proposed solutions and ensure documentation is to the required bank specifications and standards.
  • Ensure that solutions are tested thoroughly and meet quality standards before implementation.

 

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of business analysts.
  • Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure the team meets project deadlines and quality standards.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment

Project Delivery

  • Oversee the implementation of business requirements, ensuring they are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Work with the project director, process owner, product owner and technology team to prioritise and shape the product backlog for prioritisation by business value
  • Coordinate with the technology delivery team to address any issues or changes that arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular reviews and testing to ensure the delivered solutions meet business needs.

 

Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including TPRM risk groups, technology teams, and senior management.
  • Work closely with project director and other workstream leads to ensure project achieve its outcome within the committed timeline

 

Quality Assurance 

  • Implement best practices and standards for business analysis and project management.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet the required quality standards and are aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.

Strategy 

  • Understanding and comply with Group standard policies and guidelines to ensure no breach of the global and bank standards.
  • Assist in defining TPRM program strategy and delivering business solutions to meet the strategy. 

 

Business 

  • Awareness and understanding of the wider business, economic and market environment in which the Group operates

 

Processes 

  • Work closely with process lead in designing streamlined processes

 

People and Talent 

  • Good problem-solving capabilities and execution
  • Team leadership, development, and resourcing of team to ensure business outcomes are achieved
  • Ability to work under ambiguous business environments to provide clarity and facilitate discussions to reach consensus / business decisions
  • Strong scope and accountability management
  • Strong regular communication highlighting impediments and requesting help where required / reporting to management on progress
     

Risk Management

  • Ensure potential risks and issues that could impact the project delivery are identified and develop corresponding mitigation strategies to address the risks and issues
  • Ensure risks and issues are monitored and managed

  • Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.

Our Ideal Candidate
