JOB SUMMARY

  • The Global Lead, Digital Marketing WRB will be responsible for driving Performance Marketing Campaigns & initiatives across Digital and Social channels for Wealth and Retail Banking (WRB) for the Bank, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and delivering a seamless customer experience. This role requires a Digital Marketing expert who has the ability to plan and execute end-to-end integrated digital marketing campaigns on a global scale. The individual should have strong experience in Paid Media focussed on Performance marketing, with experience in SEM, SEO, Display, Websites, Media Operations, MarTech tools (Adobe Suite) and Social Media marketing for brand and businesses. The individual should be able to bring in a strong data-driven lens to Digital marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy & Digital Marketing

  • Leverage external customer insights to propose & plan Digital first marketing campaigns, that drive impact at scale.
  • Run Test & Scale initiatives across markets to determine efficacy of various digital and social channels and measure impact. 
  • Leverage data analytics and market insights to inform strategic decisions and optimize digital campaigns.
  • Utilize advanced analytics tools to measure, analyse, and report on the performance of digital marketing activities.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to drive innovation.
  • Ensure the digital marketing strategy supports the bank’s customer acquisition, engagement, and retention goals.
  • Ensure paid media effectiveness and optimization across online and offline channels, accountable to drive both short term and long-term end-to-end customer journey effectiveness.

Business

  • Support and collaborates with Wealth and Retail Banking Segment and Product team to drive leads and business metrics.
  • Work together with Digital Sales team, to drive customer acquisition, engagement and retention via paid media channels.
  • Identify marketing opportunities leveraging segment and business data and analytics.

People & Talent

  • Work in a matrix organization with regional and global marketing team members.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Clearly communicate the vision and goals of the digital marketing function to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships to drive alignment and support for digital initiatives.
  • Champion diversity and inclusion within the digital marketing team and the broader organization.
  • Coordinate with regional marketing leaders to tailor and execute global strategies effectively at the local level.
  • Collaborate closely with business partners across the bank, including product, sales and tech teams, to integrate digital marketing efforts with broader business initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with external agency partners, ensuring they deliver high-quality work aligned with the bank's goals and standards.

Risk Management

  • Manage marketing standards to reinforce overall SC brand positioning through consistency in tone, manner, look and feel, and gain competitive market advantage.

Governance

  • Implement a standardised marketing operating rhythm including market planning, campaign execution, performance tracking and stakeholder engagement model.
  • Understand the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field. 
  • 10 plus years of experience in digital marketing in financial services space
  • Hands on experience with marketing technology platforms & tools such as adobe tech stack, analytics tools & CDPS/DMPS & Media Operation set ups. 
  • Experience in performance marketing.
  • Experience in SEO & SEM is preferred.
  • Experience in MarTech tools - Customer Data Platform (CDP).
