Title: Lead, Risk & CFCR FFG Transformation Office

JOB SUMMARY
Lead the FFG Transformation Office for Risk and CFCR Strategy & Digital Transformation (SDT) team. This role supports the execution of Risk & CFCRs FFG initiatives by providing a central oversight, reporting and governance capability.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy
• Support the Risk & CFCR FFG programme steering committee and working group. Ensuring a rhythm and clarity to reporting and ensuring this view translates for MT level stakeholders.
• Proactively identifying areas of improvement in terms of execution, programme cadence, communications etc and progressing these to action
• Own programme updates into CxO level stakeholders
• Act as deputy to Head, SDT Transformation Office in various stakeholder meetings.
Business
• Central point of contact for the Fit for Growth central ‘Control Tower’ and provide regular updates on Business cases in progress.
• Supporting new FFG business cases through the development and challenge process
• Support various function level MT meeting inputs relating to the programme.
• Support other external engagements such as roadshows, townhalls etc.
Processes
• Embed change control around project milestones and benefits
• Ensure financial management is embedded within the programme and provide executive overview on financial and benefits management.
• Facilitate programme prioritisation and provide optionality, justification to programme sponsors.
• Manage programme SteerCo schedule, agendas, actions. Ensure contributors are kept honest and deviations to commitments are surfaced.
People & Talent
• Guide and influence project managers, PMOs in executing to the defined standards
• Operational management of programme PMO team, ensure standards are embedded and service levels are observed
• Building stakeholder relationships across the programme and act as a proactive facilitator of the programme’s objectives
Risk Management
• Proactively identifying and escalating programme RAIDs
• SPoC for GIA and Assurance reviews, ensuring risk committees and sponsors are appraised. Ensuring adequate remediation plans are defined and actioned.
• Maintain conduct risk assessment and deliver required remediation actions
• Conduct post-go live reviews at major programme implementation milestones
Governance
• Ensure the programme complies with group governance responsibilities
• Maintain and suggest improvements to the programme structure and accountability model
• Ensure basic data quality standards are met across golden source systems
• Maintain programme baselines, ensure control around commitments and make data readily available
Regulatory & Business Conduct
• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.

Our Ideal Candidate
- This is a 12 months direct contract role.
- High level knowledge of project management is preferred.
- The ideal candidate will have 10+ years’ experience in a business facing PMO/BPM/Programme Management role and be able to operate at multiple levels of seniority.
- Possess a driven, can-do attitude and proactive in stakeholder engagement.
- Comfortable in working with multiple stakeholders’ teams and functions.
- Experience in agile project methodologies.
- Ability to manage senior stakeholders.
- Ability to identify stakeholders and ensure appropriate engagement.
- Excellent stakeholder management experience across multiple streams – business users, technology, finance, data.
- Ability to present complex information in a succinct manner to senior management.
- Ability and experience of managing delivery in an Agile project environment.
- Strong analytical and conceptualisation skills, with a view to adopting or establishing industry best practices.
- Focused and organised, with ability to prioritise and deliver effectively.
- Strong governance, project manage and risk management experience.
- Experience across both tech and business change, with a focus on business transformation.
- Exemplary writing and communication ability, specifically with an MT/MT-1 audience
- Ability to traverse a number of different project and business issues, quickly assimilating the problem statement and offering options to resolve.
- Strong understanding of budget and benefits management, being able to summarise financial information into key data points and conclusions.
- Comfortable in operating in a fast-moving environment, and ability to create certainty from uncertainty.
- SME knowledge in Risk and CFCR or business / operating model transformation would be ideal.
