Job Summary

•    Wealth and Retail Banking (WRB) aims to become the leading Cross-Border Affluent Bank and Wealth Manager, through strengthening our Affluent continuum, unlock network value via International Banking, accelerate Private Banking growth, and future proof our business with strong focus on risk, talent, underpinned by scalable digital platform and operational capabilities.

•    WRB will invest in building client-centric digital wealth and retail journeys that expands our wealth solutions and upgrade advisory capabilities, tailor our international propositions, uplift our ability to drive client upgrades and move along the client continuum, enhance our frontline enablers to support our growth in relationship managers, and strengthen our support functions in line with our growth aspirations.  

•    We are seeking a highly skilled Change Enablement Lead that is accountable for ensuring digital investments directly support the WRB business strategy in pivoting to Affluent.  The role drives traceability between outcomes, demand, and supply, creating visibility of how change initiatives delivery strategic value.  By embedding transparency on delivery performance across management, domain, hive, and squad levels, the role enables informed decision-making, prioritisation, and governance.  

•    This role champions a value-driven change culture, balancing agility with control, and ensuring that delivery aligns to strategic outcomes rather than activity metrics.  They build organisational capability in change enablement, foster collaboration across business and technology, and provide executives with confidence that digital investments are accelerating growth, strengthening competitiveness, and delivery measurable benefits.

Strategy

•    Drive alignment of digital capability investments to the affluent business strategy, ensuring clear traceability between outcomes, demand, and supply.
•    Champion a value-driven change agenda that prioritises business outcomes over activity-based delivery.
•    Shape the strategic roadmap for change enablement practices, embedding a culture of transparency and measurable impact across management, domain, hive and squad levels.
•    Act as a trust advisor to senior leadership on the effectiveness of digital investments in delivering strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

Business

•    Ensure change initiatives are clearly linked to desired business outcomes, supporting growth and differentiation in the affluent customer segment.
•    Provide transparency on delivery performance, creating insights that allow informed prioritisation and decision-making across portfolios.
•    Partner with business leaders to identify demand, validate value cases, and monitor realisation of benefits from digital investments.
•    Partner with Digital leadership to translate business strategy into actionable change initiatives that accelerate time-to-value and strengthen competitive positioning. 

Processes

•    Establish and maintain frameworks for outcome-demand-supply traceability, enabling visibility across the entire investment lifecycle. 
•    Implement consistent performance measurement and reporting standards across management, domain, hive, and squad levels.
•    Embed lean governance practices that reduce bureaucracy while ensuring accountability and control.
•    Continuously improve change enablement processes to increase adaptability, predictability, and delivery confidence. 

People & Talent

•    Build change management capability across teams, fostering a culture of ownership, agility, and transparency. 
•    Enable squads, hives, and domains to understand and communicate how their work links to strategic outcomes.
•    Coach leaders and delivery teams on best practices in change enablement, outcome measurement, and value realisation.
•    Support talent development by promoting collaboration, learning, and mindset shifts toward value-driven delivery.

Risk Management

•    Proactively identify risks in outcome realisation, demand prioritisation, and supply alignment.
•    Establish transparent mechanisms for surfacing delivery risks and dependencies across portfolios.
•    Ensure investment decisions are made with consideration of both strategic opportunities and operational risks.
•    Promote early intervention through data-driven insights to protect delivery integrity and business outcomes.

Governance

•    Define and enforce governance structures that enable visibility, accountability, and alignment at management, domain, hive, and squad levels.
•    Drive consistent reporting on performance, outcomes, and value realisation to senior stakeholders.
•    Ensure compliance with organisational standards and regulatory requirements while enabling agility and speed.
•    Embed mechanisms for continuous feedback and learning to strengthen governance maturity over time.

Our Ideal Candidate

•    10 years of experience in leading large-scale change and transformation initiatives, ideally in financial services or digital-first organisations
•    Experience in embedding outcome-based planning, ensuring clear traceability from strategic objectives through to execution and value realisation.
•    Strong background in managing demand, supply, and investment prioritisation across complex portfolios.
•    Demonstrated ability to establish and scale frameworks for delivery performance management across multiple organisational layers
•    Skilled at bridging business strategy with technology delivery, ensuring digital capability investments create measurable business impact.
•    Experienced in influencing and partnering with C-suite, senior business leaders, and delivery teams to drive alignment and accountability.  
•    Expertise in building organisational change capability, fostering adoption of lean governance, and shifting delivery culture toward value-based outcomes.
•    Knowledge of risk management practices in change and transformation, with ability to balance agility, compliance, and control.
Education

•    Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field (MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred).
•    Relevant professional qualifications in Agile or Lean Portfolio Management (e.g., SAFe, LeSS, Disciplined Agile), Change Management (e.g., PROSCI, ACMP), Project and Programme management (e.g., PMP, MSP, PRINCE2), Business Architecture or Value Management (e.g., TOGAF, Value Stream Management)
