Job Summary
• Wealth and Retail Banking (WRB) aims to become the leading Cross-Border Affluent Bank and Wealth Manager, through strengthening our Affluent continuum, unlock network value via International Banking, accelerate Private Banking growth, and future proof our business with strong focus on risk, talent, underpinned by scalable digital platform and operational capabilities.
• WRB will invest in building client-centric digital wealth and retail journeys that expands our wealth solutions and upgrade advisory capabilities, tailor our international propositions, uplift our ability to drive client upgrades and move along the client continuum, enhance our frontline enablers to support our growth in relationship managers, and strengthen our support functions in line with our growth aspirations.
• We are seeking a highly skilled Change Portfolio Insights Lead who is responsible for delivering actionable insights across the digital investment portfolio, with a focus on understanding portfolio health across three key dimensions: outcomes, demand, and supply. These insights directly support strategic planning, resource optimisation, and, and data-driven prioritisation and trade-off decisions across the portfolio. The role also ensures integrity of data by identifying exceptions, highlighting where data quality must be improved, and uncovering where resources may be diverted to less value-generating initiatives. The role requires strong analytical acumen, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to influence senior decision-makers with clear, evidence-based insights.
Strategy
• Shape and drive the insight strategy for digital change portfolio, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and value realisation frameworks.
• Support the volution of portfolio insight capabilities to enable more predictive and forward-looking planning decisions.
• Champion a data-driven culture in change investment planning and prioritisation.
• Influence strategic discussions on where to focus investment, reduce waste, or reallocate capacity to drive better outcomes.
• Adopt AI/GenAI to uplift productivity within the Change Delivery and Enablement team, and scale across Digital team where applicable
Key Responsibilities
Business
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across Technology, Finance, Business, and Change by providing portfolio health insights and decision support.
• Translate data and metrics into business-relevant insights that clarify investment effectiveness, delivery performance, and capacity utilisation.
• Enable transparency of digital investment performance, ensuring alignment between delivery and commercial or strategic business outcomes.
• Highlight where low-value or misaligned demand may be consuming valuable delivery capacity, enabling re-prioritisation where necessary.
Processes
• Partner with Change Enablement and Delivery Leads to develop and maintain robust processes for collecting, validating, and analysing data related to portfolio outcomes, demand, and supply.
• Create and continuously improve insight dashboards, reports, and visualisations that support portfolio governance and executive decision-making.
• Identify and manage data exceptions or quality issues; partner with data owners and delivery teams to improve data accuracy and completeness.
• Establish and evolve measurement frameworks and KPIs to track delivery value and optimise resource allocation.
People & Talent
• Collaborate across business and technology teams to build analytical literacy and understanding of insights tools and frameworks.
• Provide mentorship to analysts and delivery teams in understanding how data translates into strategic planning insights.
• Contribute to a high-performing and collaborative change portfolio management culture, promoting curiosity, integrity, and data excellence.
• Build change management capability across teams, fostering a culture of ownership, agility, and transparency.
• Support talent development by promoting collaboration, learning, and mindset shifts toward value-driven delivery.
Risk Management
• Identify risks related to poor data quality, misaligned investment prioritisation, or inefficient capacity deployment.
• Proactively escalate insight gaps that may hinder effective decision-making or lead to resource misallocation.
• Ensure data privacy and governance standards are met when managing and analysing sensitive investment and resource data.
• Collaborate with risk and control partners where data-related risks intersect with regulatory or operational risk concerns.
Governance
• Support key governance forums (e.g., QPR, Refinement Forums, etc) with insightful reporting and data.
• Maintain clear documentation and audit trails for data sources, definitions, and insights to ensure transparency and repeatability.
• Ensure alignment of insight and reporting standards with enterprise portfolio management and governance frameworks.
• Provide timely and accurate reporting on value realisation, delivery progress, and resource efficiency to enable governance oversight.

Our Ideal Candidate
• 10 years of experience in leading change portfolio management, with expertise in building data-driven insights and reporting frameworks to inform senior leadership decision-making.
• Experienced in designing and scaling dashboards, metrics, and insights to drive accountability at management, domain, hive, and squad levels.
• Experienced in rolling out AI/GenAI use cases to uplift productivity in governance, reporting, demand management, and resource allocation.
• Familiarity with portfolio management and reporting tools (e.g., Clarity, Power BI, Tableau, ADO), with ability to shape data into executive-level insights.
• Strong influencing skills with senior executives, able to challenge, advise, and enable transparent conversations on delivery, value, and risk.
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field (MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred).
• Relevant professional qualifications in Data and Analytics (e.g., Power BI, Tableau certifications, VBA, Python scripts) and AI/GenAI
