Job Summary

The incumbent will be part of the Client Enablement team in Wealth and Retail Bank (“WRB”) Operations. This incumbent will lead transformation of the WRB operations to delivery scalability, operational efficiency and client experience globally with laser sharp focus on key focus markets. This will include working with Operations MT, Initiative leads, WRB country operations MT and journey responsible to work on the overall execution of WRB TC, IC and FFG book of work that defines the Ops transformation roadmap. 

The other element of the role is project management oversight and participate actively in the delivery of Operations Transformation roadmap

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for identification, design, and execution of initiatives that will elevate client service delivery within the bank
  • Tracking the portfolio of initiatives that will deliver on the vision with clear performance accountability; incumbent will be responsible for measuring milestones and progress updates
  • Maintains project management standards, best practices, and processes to ensure projects are executed efficiently. Has the ability to analyse and execute optimum utilization to help achieve strategic objectives.
  • Track project metrics, progress, and tasks of the Project/ Programme, including financial management, project planning, overall project governance and various management reporting 

 

Strategy 

  • Manage and track execution progress of approved initiatives to drive the Transformation agenda.
  • Leverage and actively use data and analytics to play a major role in transforming the client’s experience
  • Ensures that programmes and portfolios are aligned with operational and strategic objectives 

 

 

Business 

  • Maintain strong stakeholder engagement with Business, TTO, Risk & Compliance and Group Internal Audit to ensure alignment across stakeholder groups to support the Transformation agenda.
  • Understands risks, business imperatives and business context when facilitating decision making impacted by the process re-design, create solution options and make recommendations.
  • Ensure appropriate and insightful data and analytics that can drive business decisions

 

Processes 

 

  • Understanding of the WRB process universe to appreciate horizontal delivery synergies
  •  Continuously improve productivity and efficiency of operations and drive standardisation agenda for WRB Operations, maintaining rigorous cost and investment discipline across the business.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, papers and review material to support discussions and decision making at various forums
  • Supports continuous improvement and operational efficiency of processes to optimise operating model and employee experience.

People and Talent 

  • Demonstrate and act as a role model of the Group’s values and culture in the region
  • Lead and support a change in mindset, building a culture of client centricity, agility, and accountability through standardised metrics and measurement
  • Set effective metrics and standards, transparently communicating them relevant stakeholders 

 

Risk Management 

 

  • Independently identify key issues and initiate efforts to assess and drive resolution, working in collaboration with WRB Operations teams.
  • Works with Program/ Project managers to manage & track risks, issues, impediments throughout the project life cycle and to follow up through its resolution.
  • Risk control and governance: ensuring oversight and driving improvement in the control & resilience agenda.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • 10+  years of experience in the financial services space with strong transformation and Programme Management background   
  • Strong change management experience and proven ability to develop and execute transformation roadmaps  
  • A Bachelor’s degree of equivalent 
  • Training: PMP or Programme Management or Agile
