Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out activities at all stages of data analytics lifecycle - data exploration, analysis, preparation, transformation & visualization.
  • Actively participate in data reconciliation with country and group teams. Having working experience in Private banking will be an added advantage.
  • Write SQL queries and build workflows for data extraction and transformation.
  • Understanding business needs, explore and examine data from multiple sources, help build workflows using dataiku for POC purposes and provide requirements to technology teams.
  • Support and Maintain existing Dataiku workflows.
  • Participate in the new sourcing meeting, brainstorm sessions, do the impact analysis and document the Mapping and place it in confluence for future reference.
  • Engage stakeholders to understand business issues & opportunities and formulate them.
  • Participate in daily scrum calls, UAT, UVT activities as required from time to time.
  • Respond timely to user queries from frontline on scorecards/management reports.

Support Department Initiatives:

  • Collaborate with wider Analytics team for problem solving and issues resolution.
  • Cover as backup for your colleagues during their absence when needed.

  • Promote data & analytics driven decision making culture across business functions.
  • Enable self-service reporting and analytics capabilities.

Business

  • Serve as a critical partner to the PvB business in providing data and actionable insights.
  • Act as an interface between business and data technology delivery teams.
  • Understand various business processes and expand knowledge on related data and dependencies.
  • Help educate business on available data & analytics capabilities and tools.

Processes

  • Conduct data exploration and data preparation for various business use cases.
  • Create strong blending and data transformation capabilities for generating rapid insights.
  • Automate data processing & transformation using tools such as dataiku.
  • Translate business requirements to user stories for technology team for delivery.

Risk Management

  • Identifies, assesses, monitors, controls, and mitigates risks to the Group

Governance

  • Ensure strong due diligence on data confidentiality

Our Ideal Candidate

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis/performance management/management reporting.
  • Proficient in SQL and strong knowledge on data analysis/transformation.
  • Ability to analyse business needs and extract meaningful data to support data driven decisions.
  • Strong discipline, attention to details and time management to execute against defined timelines.
  • Hands on experience of Dataiku/Tableau/MicroStrategy/Power BI or similar data/visualization tools
  • Team player, excellent communication & collaboration skills.
  • Exposure to Private Banking business processes, operating model & service offerings.
  • Knowledge of T24 system and related processes is preferred.
  • Understanding of Data Lake/ Hadoop environment.
  • Familiar with confluence, ADO
