Job Summary

•   As a key member of the Capital Markets Products and Sales (CMPS) Team, you will focus on structured products across various asset classes. This pivotal role centers on managing and executing complex structured products across a range of asset classes, collaborating closely with the Retail Bank’s Front Office to generate and price trade ideas effectively. 
•    You will work closely with Retail bank Front Office on pricing and execution of trades and trade ideas and have consistent interaction with the front office for idea generation.

Responsibilities
•    Providing cash equity execution support for Retail Bank
•    Ensuring accurate and proper execution of orders in fast-paced environment.
•    Preparing and presenting weekly trade ideas to the front office team.
•    Co-ordinate and liaise with external banks and counterparties on product development and idea generation. 
•    Support the end-to-end documentation and sales process cycle for product/idea generation. 
•    Providing support to front office to achieve the financial targets of the WRB segment.
•    Ensure compliance with all internal and regulatory requirements.
•    Maintaining good relationship and to work closely with internal and external stakeholders including the front, middle and back offices.
•    Ad hoc projects in relation to specific aspects of execution and desk activities.

•    Ensure awareness of execution processes and deliver quality execution service. Ability to identify and suggest ways of enhancements to existing processes.

•    To proactively manage risk for both bank and clients

•    Awareness of overall business governance

Regulatory & Business Conduct

•    Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. 
•    Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
•    Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Our Ideal Candidate

•    3 plus years of Derivatives and Structured Product Experience (particularly pricing, execution, marketing and sales).
•   Experience in banking primarily in wealth management would be preferred.
•    Keen interest in financial and equity markets.
•    Experience in Macros and VBA would be an added advantage. 
•    RNF and CACS and CMFAS Qualifications is required. Paper 1A or 1B, 5, 6, 6A, 8, 8A (RES1B or RES12B and CM-EIP and CM-SIP or CM-CMP) as well as FMRP
•    Basic analytical and technical skills that can be practically applied to day-to-day operations.
