Title: Partner Enablement Lead, API Banking, ASA

Job Summary:
Client engagement
• Demonstrated excellence in API Banking with proven track record of supporting frontline and Implementation teams in delivering complex solutions (multi-market, bespoke, co-created, integrated / multi-modular deals...) while providing technical insights and solutions to meet client needs / RFP’s / RFI’s.
• Provide data-driven leads and comprehensive support across the deal lifecycle, from prospecting to acquisition, implementation, and servicing.
• Responsible for reviewing and approving Cash Deal Reviews (CDRs) related to API deals.
API capabilities
• Drive market-specific Product Technical Requirements (PTRs) to activate new API capabilities / corridors.
• Develop and execute market specific test scenarios for PTRs, capturing insights to enhance the Open Banking Marketplace (OBM).
• Act as a subject matter expert in the OBM to guide clients through discovery, implementation, and go-live phases.
• Actively contribute to OBM content creation, focusing on practical guides and resources to enhance the customer journey.
• Support the integration of third-party solutions and artifacts, ensuring the pre-integration of strategic partners for streamlined plug-and-play solutions
Open Banking- Open Finance
• Ensure compliance with Open Banking and Open Finance regulatory and industry initiatives at the market level by actively engaging regulators and contributing to industry thought leadership on use cases, standards, and commercial models.
• Collaborate closely with the global product team to document requirements clearly, align tasks, and prioritize work to meet regulatory timelines.
• Engage with local regulators to facilitate Sandbox testing and ensure readiness for implementation.
• Drive by the responsibilities on Open Finance, assist Frontline and product teams in client interactions related to digital solutions, supporting the commercialization of both existing and new focused on Digital solutions.
• Support the prioritization and roll out of API products and initiatives, engaging with key stakeholders to drive adoption and maximize the impact of our Open Finance offerings.
• Map the local Third-Party Provider (TPP) ecosystem to identify potential partnerships and business opportunities.
• Lead expertise in consent management and user journey design for open banking and finance.
• Maintain a strong understanding of the market-specific ecosystem, including key players like aggregators, TPPs, and other relevant stakeholders.
Key metrics and reporting
• Responsible for API-driven Digital revenue, volumes and client adoption across multi market and cross product in the relevant cluster.

• The CIB Business Platforms & Partnerships team works closely with CIB business verticals, Technology, Operations and Transformation teams to maximise the impact and quality of change delivery to enable the CIB business strategy.
• The CIB Digital Channels, Data & Coverage Platforms team under the CIB BPP team serves our clients and partners by driving digital and channel-led solutions that fuel growth in flow, efficiency and bottom-line revenue for the future growth of Standard Chartered.
• CIB Digital Channels, Data & Coverage Platforms supports Markets, Banking and the Transaction Bank to structure the best solutions for our client’s processes and needs incorporating all of our channel and data capabilities, helping our clients achieve their aspirations in todays’ digital economy using our latest digital and channel led capabilities to mesh our offerings to the client’s platforms / processes.

• The CIB business model is structured to provide comprehensive digital solutions for clients across Markets, Banking and Transaction Banking. Our Digital Solutions team support clients throughout the journey, from prospecting to implementation and ongoing support, within an efficient, digital-first enablement approach. By integrating data and channels, we deliver tailored solutions that add value in the digital economy.
• Our approach to Open Banking and Open Finance is proactive and compliance-driven. We align with regulatory standards and industry benchmarks, positioning us as leaders. Collaborating with global product teams, we prioritize readiness and compliance, including Sandbox testing.
• With a thorough understanding of the market, we map the TPP landscape to identify partnerships and opportunities aligned with clients' evolving needs. CIB remains committed to impactful, adaptable, and data-driven solutions that enable sustainable growth and a competitive edge.
• API’s play a key role in our strategy. We support Frontline and Product teams with market-specific requirements, pre-integrated solutions, and strategic partnerships to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.

• The role plays a key part in driving the digital transformation of the bank primarily through an ambitious agenda to expanding our real client solutions across all segments showcasing digital and channel solutions to increase cross border flow and P&L contribution to CIB

- 5+ years of experience in API Banking with proven track record of serving corporate & Financial Institution clients.
- Strong expertise in Global Cash Management Practices, Trade products, Cross-border remittances, Transactional FX and Custody products
- Strong Product Management, Project Management, analytical problem solving and use of relevant tools.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing multi-market, medium to large scale product enablers and platforms in the transaction banking / Markets / Custody.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality deliverables under tight timelines while maintaining precision and excellence.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
