Job Summary
We are looking for a Multi-Asset Portfolio Manager to support the growth and day-to-day management of our Discretionary Portfolio Management platform. The role requires strong multi-asset portfolio construction and implementation skills, the ability to engage confidently with clients and front-line teams, and a disciplined governance mindset. The successful candidate will contribute across investment management, client pitches, portfolio reviews, performance analysis and product capability development.
Key Responsibilities
Portfolio Management
• Support the design, construction and implementation of customized multi-asset portfolios for UHNW / Family Office clients, aligned with client objectives, risk tolerance, investment guidelines and long-term requirements.
• Manage and implement multi-asset portfolios across funds, ETFs and single-line securities, including rebalancing, trade implementation and ongoing portfolio monitoring.
• Support the development and management of CIO Multi-Asset Portfolio Strategies, including model portfolios, portfolio positioning and investment implementation.
• Conduct performance attribution and risk analysis to support investment decisions, client reviews and portfolio improvements.
• Collaborate with the Chief Investment Office, Product Specialists and internal stakeholders to translate investment views into scalable DPM solutions and portfolio capabilities.
• Contribute investment insights and portfolio feedback into internal investment discussions, including CIO and DPM forums where relevant.
• Ensure portfolios remain aligned with mandate objectives, internal investment guidelines, risk limits and applicable governance requirements.
Sales & Marketing Support
• Support client pitches, portfolio reviews and after-sales discussions, explaining portfolio strategy, performance drivers and risk considerations clearly and confidently.
• Partner with RMs, Investment Advisors and DPM specialists to support pipeline conversion, client engagement and growth of DPM mandates.
• Prepare client-ready materials, including pitchbooks, portfolio reviews, investment commentary and performance updates.
• Translate portfolio positioning and market developments into clear, commercial and compliant messaging for clients and front-line teams.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of scalable marketing and review materials in line with internal standards and regulatory requirements.
Product Management & Governance
• Participate in the development and enhancement of the DPM product offering, with a focus on multi-asset capabilities and scalable portfolio solutions.
• Conduct performance attribution, risk analysis and portfolio diagnostics to identify areas for improvement.
• Adhere to DPM governance procedures, including investment guideline monitoring, mandate restrictions, documentation standards and escalation requirements.
• Support the preparation of materials for governance, fiduciary oversight and investment committee meetings.
• Work with relevant control functions to ensure portfolio activity, materials and client engagement remain aligned with applicable internal and regulatory standards.

Our Ideal Candidate
• 5+ years of experience in portfolio management within a private bank, asset manager or wealth manager with a preference for multi-asset experience
• Strong understanding of multi-asset portfolio construction across funds, ETFs, fixed income, equities and alternatives.
• Confident and credible in engaging clients, RMs and Investment Advisors, with the ability to explain portfolio strategy, performance and risk clearly in a commercial, client-centric and compliant manner.
• Strong analytical capability, including performance attribution, risk analysis, portfolio monitoring and investment commentary.
• Detail-oriented, diligent and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced and growing business.
• Commercial mindset, with the ability to support business growth while maintaining portfolio quality, suitability and governance discipline.
• Strong Excel / Bloomberg / Portfolio analytics skills
• Quantitative experience with automation or workflow improvement is an advantage.
• Strong accountability, governance orientation and attention to detail.
• CFA designation preferred.
• Good understanding and command of Mandarin as the incumbent will be supporting Hong Kong and/or Greater China markets.
• Ability to present in business Mandarin is an advantage.
