Title: Process Analyst

JOB SUMMARY
The Process Analyst will drive the identification, definition, optimisation, and ongoing monitoring of critical cross functional business processes. The role supports scalable, efficient, and resilient operations across the organisation, and contributes to the adoption of common process simplification as a strategic enabler. The analyst will work closely with multiple business stakeholders to understand current challenges, define future-state solutions, and ensure consistent implementation and governance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy
• Contribute to the development of the operations strategy by embedding process simplification into business transformation initiatives.
• Support alignment of operational initiatives with strategic priorities across business units.
• Identify improvement opportunities that drive operational excellence and transformation.
Business
• Ensure business processes are aligned to support consistent, scalable delivery across teams.
• Work with various stakeholders to deliver process design that enables business efficiency.
• Assist in translating business objectives into actionable process improvements that support long-term outcomes.
Processes
• Lead and support the documentation and mapping of existing and future-state processes.
• Apply process modelling standards and tools to enable consistent and repeatable documentation.
• Develop process metrics and monitoring mechanism to assess effectiveness and adoption.
• Introduce process automation and simplification opportunities in alignment with business goals.
People & Talent
• Collaborate with functional and cross-functional teams to embed process thinking into day-to-day activities.
• Contribute to capability building by sharing knowledge of process methodologies and tools.
• Provide training and support to stakeholders in adopting new or revised processes.
Risk Management
• Ensure processes are designed and implemented in compliance with operational risk frameworks.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with poor process design or execution.
• Support audit and compliance requirements through thorough documentation and controls.
Governance
• Maintain accurate, up to date process documentation and repositories.
• Support implementation of governance models for process ownership and lifecycle management.
• Enable transparency and accountability through robust documentation and reporting practises.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. Our Ideal Candidate
- 3+ years experience into Process Analysis
- Identify and eliminate process bottlenecks, duplication and legacy complexity through practical redesign.
- Champion “fit-for-purpose” governance by aligning architecture principles with practical operational outcomes.
- Create process models, service blueprints, and governance frameworks that bridge technical depth and business usability
- Establish metrics and KPI for process effectiveness, ensuring data-driven continuous improvement\
