Job Summary

 

Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Data & Analytics Platforms are strategical data insights generation and consumption platforms driving collaboration across CIB. It is currently being used by frontline and product managers as well as clients in 40 markets covering Markets, Transaction Banking products as well as both CIB and SME segments. Impacts from actionable insights generated by the platforms through rule-based, ML/AI methods are ranging from helping our frontline to serve our client better on day-to-day basis, assisting clients in optimising their capitals to generating millions of revenue uplift per year for the Bank.  

This Product Manager/Product Owner role will play a vital role in the end-to-end product management of Core Platform capabilities specifically to enable connectivity to SCB’s AI Platform allowing expert users to develop their own use cases as part of their overall analytics agenda. Working closely with a diverse set of specialists, including technology delivery team across Analytics and AI, designer, and subject matter experts across banking domains, you will internalise complex information about products and services to make them understandable to real humans and manage delivery of these features under the agile framework.

What you will do
 
Product and Feature Design
• Define the product vision of the CIB Data & Analytics platforms along with Head, CIB Data & Analytics as well as Product & Business leads
• Conduct requirements gathering, articulate user-stories for identified features to enable connectivity to AI platforms. From time to time, involvement required for flagship initiatives from data sourcing, prepping, model training to output commercialization.
• Conduct backlog prioritization and maintain the product roadmap
• Work with our software engineering team, UI/ Visual designers, Content Managers to ensure the feasibility of design and to polish the wireframes into high-fidelity user interface for development.
• Ensure artefacts as needed to support technical implementation and project management are developed and signed off.

Product Delivery and Implementation
• Collaborate implementation of features using agile methodology and work closely with all stakeholders to facilitate delivery.
• Conduct user acceptance and complete technical go live activities
• Develop rollout plan, pre / post implementation activities in conjunction with Run and Adoption team and support the creation of training materials
• Support resolution of production issues

Market Research & Industry Insights
• Research and analyse industry UX/UI trends and conduct competitor analysis in order to turn them into user insights
• Lead user research and testing activities to continue raising the bar
• Regular review of usage data to analyse user behaviour and pain points

Our Ideal candidate

  • Education: University Degree
  • Certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner (Preferred)
  • This role requires an independent self-starter, solution oriented and delivery focused. We are seeking candidates with:
  • 10 years of experience in product owner / product manager role 
  • 5 years of direct experience in end-to-end product design and development, such as developing user requirements, business analysis, UI/UX design and programming
  •  Ability to prototype and demonstrate design concepts to stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical skills, with strong attention to details and good
    problem-solving skills
  • Good understanding of Agile Software Development Lifecycle and experience with ADO
  • Experience in AI-Enablement, Data Engineering for AI and platform design is a plus
  • Experience in Corporate and Investment Banking products and clients is a plus.
  • A Certified Scrum Product Owner certificate holder is a plus
