Job Summary
Work in partnership with the Head of Product Development – Trade to deliver the Trade Transformation Program, driving the modernisation and digitisation of Trade Finance products across global markets.

• Partner with senior Trade leadership to define and execute the Trade Transformation agenda.

• Deliver Trade Finance product enhancements aligned to client and regulatory needs.

• Oversee end-to-end Trade product delivery lifecycle.

• Ensure adherence to Group risk frameworks.

• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
• Lead the Trade PD sub team for Doc Trade BG] to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles
• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Our Ideal Candidate
• 10+ years of work experience in Trade finance products and processes.
• Deep understanding of Bank Guarantees/SBLC
• Experience in leading/rolling out a change management initiative preferably involving system changes
• Understanding of the risk framework and/or process review and related documentation.
• Understanding of the overall digitization tools and technology landscape, current trends and applicability in the business environment
• Ability to respond effectively to change, managing work in a fast-paced matrix environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain productive lasting relationships, even in difficult situations, with diverse people spanning internal/external organizations
• Strong stakeholder management skills in engaging senior stakeholders
• Proven ability to perform under high pressure in a dynamic environment
• Ability to present to a large audience with comfort
• Ability to take initiative and work with minimal management oversight
• Ability to work with cross functional teams across business and technology
