As part of our growing team, you will have the unique opportunity to lead the development of a digital platform designed to develop and finance carbon credit projects. This role will contribute to scaling climate action in critical geographies for global carbon markets.
 

Job Summary

The Project Manager will lead the end-to-end development of a digital tool tailored to manage, finance, and execute carbon credit projects. This includes overseeing software development, coordinating with cross-functional teams, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring the product meets the unique requirements of customers.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Execution

• Lead the planning, development, and delivery from concept to deployment.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, deliverables, and budgets.
• Ensure adherence to project scope, deadlines, and budgetary constraints.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while resolving issues proactively.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate multiple internal & external stakeholders to gather user requirements.
• Facilitate regular project updates and communication with all stakeholders.

Product Development

• Define and prioritize the product roadmap to align with market needs and business objectives.
• Drive the integration of user-friendly features. 

Market Insights & Strategy

• Stay updated on carbon market trends, regulations, and best practices.
• Provide insights into the needs of customers and translate them into platform features.

Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably in technology, sustainability, or carbon markets.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver digital tools/platforms, with experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of the voluntary carbon market and carbon project development.
• Knowledge of regulations and frameworks related to carbon credits.
• Exceptional communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience working with financial institutions, NGOs, or consulting firms in the climate or sustainability space.
• Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile).
• Familiarity with AI tools, data analytics, or other advanced technologies.
