Title: Senior Finance Manager,CIB Business Finance

Job Summary
This is a region/ country finance partner role with the Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) segment, providing financial analysis on CIB performance to senior management for the formulation and review of CIB business plans and strategies, including analysis of CIB country and cluster performance (financial, origination and franchise views), review and highlight risks and opportunities, as well as drive actions to ensure committed financial outcome. The role involves working with multiple stakeholders across different businesses and geographies.
Key Responsibilities
- Review CIB income movement to ensure accuracy in the financials (including transfer pricing) and provide commentaries to management on material movements; Work with various finance teams to ensure month end numbers are accurately reported and any anomalies are investigated and resolved.
- Review any methodology changes and assess impact on the CIB financials, to ensure accurate reporting is used for business decisions
- To be the finance business partner to the CIB business, providing support on all finance related matters
- Support SG ALCO for capital and liquidity inputs and active balance sheet management for strategic planning, as well as RWA forecast
- Co-ordinate the process for consolidating, reviewing and analysing monthly outlook and annual budget to support strategic aspirations of CIB business and align with Group plans
- Manage all regular and ad-hoc requests/ deliverables from stakeholders (e.g. Group Finance, MBR, CMT, CRAFT/MAS, ICAAP/IWST, EY Audit, Audit Committee, Board) are met.
- Work closely with GFS team on the monthly reporting process to ensure accurate and timely delivery of reports to support business discussions, as well as ad-hoc reporting requests for business presentations, strategy discussions, etc.
- Ensure compliance with Group/ IFRS accounting principles and practices, Financial Control Policy and other regulatory accounting guidelines; Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial returns to internal and external authorities and stakeholders.
Project Management
- Contribute in any finance related projects, including providing support to Finance Transformation initiatives as well as changes and simplification of the bank’s processes. This would include (but not limited to):
- C&O allocation
- Transfer Pricing methodology changes
- System enhancements
- FFG

Skills and Experience
Our Ideal Candidate:-
- Finance profession with 10+ years of relevant finance experience in financial services industry
- Experienced in corporate and investment banking products (such as transaction banking, lending/ financing and financial markets), booking models and accounting treatments preferred; Understanding of SCB’s products and segments splits would be an advantage.
- Professional degree in Accounting/ Finance with relevant finance experience
- Sound understanding of international accounting standards requirements, business analysis techniques and risk management methodologies
- High degree of integrity and ability to challenge the views and actions of other in a constructive manner
- A business sense (including the ability to understand the business models, strategy, risk and returns), self driven and the ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate (work within team environment) and work dynamically with group, regional and country stakeholders in a complex and diverse organization
- Strong process and data analytical skills, and proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power-point
- Experience in ledger and reporting systems SAP (SAC/ AFO), GL Analytics, CRD (Client & Performance Management), FA (Financial Analytics) and Tableau
- Good knowledge on international accounting standard requirements, booking model and accounting treatments for banking products
