JOB SUMMARY

  • We are seeking a skilled and passionate Senior Developer to join our team. As a Senior Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, debugging and documenting software application in WRB Wealth Journey Hive. Your primary focus will be on developing high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solution that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy

  • Collaborate, motivate, and coach development team towards successful delivery, by providing technical leadership and expertise for design, implementation, and quality release.

Business

  • Assess the technical impact and effort required for a given business epic / feature. Identify systems’ dependencies and execute a plan to resolve all dependencies.

Processes

  • Iterative development process, technology refresh, release and risk management. 

People & Talent

  • Promote innovative thinking and self-organize squad.  Manage expectations, provide timely feedback on performance and areas of improvement.

Risk Management

  • Ensure system is compliant with security framework 

Governance

  • Ensure all deliverables meet the quality standards as defined in the bank’s Software Development Framework (SDF Agile)

Other Responsibilities

  • Developing and delivering real time solutions for Private Bank and Wealth Management.
  • Collaborate with business and technology teams to establish frameworks for delivery of online capability to clients via web or through relationship management tools.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to co-ordinate development and create a delivery pipeline across multiple streams.
  • Support to remove technical impediments.
  • Support the squad on task refinement and estimation, identify technical dependencies with other squads and prioritize technical task in the backlog.
  • Drive adoption and rollout of Agile and modern software engineering and integration best practices.
  • Ensure adherence and continuous improvement of Agile Development practices, coaches and teaches new techniques to the squad to achieve optimum productivity and software development efficiency.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • 14 + years of experience in Software Development.
  • Strong proficiency in Triple’A Plus, IBM TX integration, Databases, RDBMS, CI/CD etc.
  • Proven experience in Wealth management domain, knowledge on the lifecycle of the different wealth products and the implementation knowledge in Triple’A plus
  • Ability to Troubleshoot complex Technical issues, solve and drive it end to end.
  • Develop Scalable solution for Wealth Journey  requirement from Global wealth journey team.
  • Familiarity with methodologies such as Agile, DevOps, Waterfall etc.
  • Takes ownership of projects from design to deployment, ensuring high quality deliverables
  • Pro-active in identifying improvements and optimizing existing systems
  • Works well in fast paced, dynamic and high stake environment
  • Strong ability to work with cross functional teams consisting of developers, engineers, solution architect and product team
  • Excellent communication skills – Needs to explain complex technical concepts into non-technical audiences
  • A team player who supports and uplift colleagues
  • Certification in TAP and or ITX 8, 9 etc...
  • Experience in leading technical projects mentoring Junior Engineer.
  • Education Needed: Bachelors Of Engineering

Role Specific Technical Competencies

  • Experience in customization of Temenos “Wealth Suite” product like Triple ‘A Plus & WTX in the following areas:
  • Work experience in creating/customizing formats, screens, profiles etc.
  • Proficient in Triple A scripting language.
  • Worked on customization of BTF and FTB screens.
  • Worked on creating WTX MAPs and import files.
  • Worked on financial functions like Valuation, Operation History, Transaction History, Return Analysis, Performance Analysis, Order Entry etc.
  • Strong knowledge of relational database, PostgreSQL, Oracle
  • Application testability and unit testing, performance testing.
  • Programming Frameworks, concurrency, API design principles, high availability, resilience and scalability, security design principles
  • Experience in implementing multi-site large scale programmes on a Service or Microservice architecture, end-to-end deployment pipelines including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, container platforms and system monitoring to provide private and public cloud services.
  • DevOps Engineering & DevOps tool stacks – Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift, BitBucket, Jira, Jenkins, SonarQube
