Title: Specialist, Reporting & Visualisation

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for Data Insights project support for CIB analytics, which will include data sourcing, data transformation, predictive modelling and creating Tableau dashboards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy
• Promote an analytics culture and use of analytics as a common language across Integrated Middle Office; support embedding of data science principles and development of analytical capabilities throughout network
• Promote analytics driven decision making processes across multiple segments / product portfolios
Business
• Create strong blending data capabilities within team so that we can come up with useful client information from data very quickly
• Serve as a critical partner to the business in delivering actionable insights & data/ analytics-based solutions to business needs and problems
• Help educate business on available analytics capabilities & tools
Processes
• Primary role is to develop individual level productivity models for Coverage.
• Engage with Coverage Ops to support with data requirements and performance analysis.
• Perform time and motion study where required and sync up with existing productivity models.
• Ensure connectivity with productivity by modelling key data points into the data capture in the activity analyser.
• Engage with country stakeholders across countries to assess the outcome of the data insights
• Liaise with stakeholders to do process gap analysis.
• Dataiku or equivalent experience in data preparation tools is a preferred skill
• Create and execute the dashboards on Tableau or similar visualization tools
• Liaise with ETL team and other system database teams to get the required data
• Explore statistical and automation tools like SAS, Python for predictive and prescriptive analytics
• Engage relevant technology teams to embed advanced statistical tools
• Prepare and/or contribute to regular updates for various committees and governance forums
• Provide insights to senior management and the network based on MIS and analytics
• Highlight any perceived risk and early alerts to the management based on data analytics
• Perform data validation and dashboard performance optimization
• Understand stakeholders’ concerns/issues and provide appropriate technical solutions
• Create comprehensive documentation on the data models and the dashboards

Our Ideal Candidate
• 5+ years’ proven track record of relevant banking analytics work experience and demonstrated career progression/increase in responsibilities
• Capability to progress multiple tasks / projects simultaneously; strong ownership of tasks assigned
• Highly organized & meticulous; good eye for detail and accuracy
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Proficient in SQL, good level of complex database data extraction skill is a must.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel is a must
• Strong Knowledge in Tableau is a must
• Proficient in Alteryx or similar tools
• Strong understanding of Hadoop Database
• Good understanding of the ETL process
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
• Degree or diploma qualified with a preference in a Business or Technology discipline
• Education: Bachelors degree in a relevant field
• Training Skilled in data prep tools like Alteryx / Dataiku & Tableau
• Certifications Preferred in any data tools
