Title: Strategic Initiative and Productivity Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and analytical professional to lead Strategic Initiatives and productivity for the Group Collections & Recoveries function. This role will be responsible for driving initiatives for operational efficiency, implementing digital transformation strategies, optimizing cost structures, and shaping the long-term strategic direction across multiple markets. A key component of this role involves providing insights, reports, and dashboards for senior management, ensuring data-driven decision-making and clear communication of key insights
Key Responsibilities
Strategy*
- Lead and execute transformation projects across multiple markets to enhance collections efficiency and effectiveness. Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for Collections & Recoveries across different markets.
- Collaborate with in-country collections team to drive initiatives such as digital collections adoption, agency optimisation and regulatory alignment.
- Develop benchmarking frameworks to compare market performance and drive best practices. Ensure standardisation and scalability of collection strategies across regions
- Identify and rollout process improvements, leveraging data analytics and automation to enhance collection effectiveness.
- Prepare comprehensive performance reports and executive dashboards for senior leadership.
Business*
- Develop high-impact dashboards to communicate performance trends, cost management insights, and strategic recommendations.
- Translate complex financial and operational data into compelling visuals and narratives for executive decision-making.
- Design and maintain executive dashboards, leveraging tools like Power BI or Tableau for real-time reporting. Ensure consistency, clarity, and data accuracy in all reports and presentations shared with key stakeholders.
Risk Management*
The ability to identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling and mitigating risks, identify key issues based on Operational Risk Framework and put in place appropriate controls and measures.
Governance*
- To ensure that all collection activities are carried out in compliance with the agreed standards and with due recognition of the regulatory guidelines within the country, Group Collections and the overall OR framework.
- To ensure good control mechanisms are in place by at least quarterly governance forum with Team Leads and to ensure satisfactory audit clearance.
- To support the regular submission for CST, KCI, etc. Immediately highlight gaps or breaches identified to appropriate department or management. Ensure agreements are reviewed periodically as required by the process standards.
- Work with GIA & Country teams to ensure that conduct of Internal Audits & Peer Reviews are undertaken seamlessly & identified issues are resolved timely.

Our Ideal Candidate
- 10+ years of experience in collections strategy, recovery management or related areas, with a strong focus on global or multi-market environments. Knowledge of Business Banking segment preferred.
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in leveraging data to drive insights and decision-making.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
