JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an senior AI business engineer to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale data and analytics solutions in GCFO, with a strong focus on SAP technologies, artificial intelligence, and semantic web technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud architecture, data engineering, business intelligence, knowledge graphs, and AI solutions, with a proven track record of delivering complex technical solutions for Fortune 500 companies.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and architect end-to-end data and analytics research and development activities in artificial intelligence, ensuring scalability, security, and performance
• Lead technical strategy and implementation of enterprise-wide intelligence and computer augmented analysis platforms
• Design and implement AI/ML solutions using SAP's AI suite of products
• Manage stakeholder relationships across internal teams and external partners
• Provide R&D leadership and mentoring to development teams
• Oversee solution design, from high-level architecture to detailed technical specifications
• Lead business decision-making and AI safety governance
• Lead the strategic direction for SAP AI implementations across the enterprise, focusing on SAP Business AI, AI Core, and emerging technologies like Joule
• Drive the adoption and integration of SAP's conversational AI capabilities, including Just Ask and natural language processing solutions
• Develop and execute roadmaps for AI/ML initiatives within the SAP ecosystem
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and prioritize AI use cases that deliver measurable business value
• Architect and implement solutions using SAP AI Core and SAP Core AI SDK
• Lead the integration of Joule AI assistant across SAP applications and business processes
• Design and deploy conversational AI solutions using SAP's Just Ask technology
• Develop custom AI/ML models using SAP AI Core and integrate them with existing SAP systems
• Implement SAP Business AI solutions across various business domains
• Establish best practices for AI model lifecycle management and MLOps
• Build and lead a team of AI/ML engineers and developers specialized in SAP technologies
• Establish governance frameworks for AI model development, deployment, and monitoring
• Ensure compliance with ethical AI principles and regulatory requirements
• Create and maintain documentation for AI solutions and architectural decisions
• Mentor team members on SAP AI technologies and best practices
• Responsible for proactively seeking regular assurance that function is performing to an acceptable risk and control standards.
• Responsible to act quickly and decisively when any risk and control weakness become apparent and ensure they are addressed within an appropriate timeframe and, if necessary, escalated through the relevant committees.
• Responsible to balance business performance delivery and cost management with risk and control matters to ensure that it does not materially threaten the Group, remaining within risk appetite.
• Responsible to work in collaboration with risk and control teams.

Skills and Experience
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Degree in Computer Science
- 15+ years of experience, in Data & Analytics, preferably in banking.
- Experience in large, complex organisations, ability to handle cultural diversity and managing senior stakeholders.
- 3+ years of experience with AI/ML
- Experience in data and analytics solutions architecture
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and SAP Cloud solutions
- Strong expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and related technologies
- Deep understanding of semantic web technologies and knowledge graphs
- Experience in natural language processing
- Experience with AI governance and ethical considerations
- Expertise in Python, Java, and SAP development technologies
- Deep understanding of SAP's AI strategy and roadmap
