JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a web manager and content strategist to join on an initial 6 month contract. 

This role is part of our Group Corporate Comms team which sits within the wider Corporate Affairs and Brand Marketing (CABM) function.

The role holder will primarily work on our corporate website, sc.com.

Our website is the Bank’s largest digital channel. This role is a chance to help us tell our story to millions of users worldwide.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy

•    Offering expert guidance and sharing best practices on web.
•    Keeping up to date with industry developments.
•    Web content strategy.

Business

•    Bringing key campaigns to life with engaging web content which inspires action.
•    Collaborating from teams in different parts of the bank to develop new web pages, and evolve existing pages, to help them tell their story and meet their business goals.

Processes

•    Supporting during financial results, including helping to bring our Annual Report to life on web.
•    Helping manage CMS users as required.

People & Talent

This is not a manager position, but the role holder will be expected to:

•    Collaborate with risk and governance partners
•    Engage with senior stakeholders 
•    Support an inclusive, open team environment
•    Help to upskill peers as a subject matter expert. 

Risk Management
In this role, you will need to:

•    Manage reputational risks on web
•    Ensure web content complies with industry regulations and the Bank’s policies.

Governance

•    Support effective governance including helping manage user access to our CMS
•    Document approvals for content and support regular reviews to ensure content remains up to date. 

Regulatory & Business Conduct

•    Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. 
•    Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
•    Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Our Ideal Candidate

We are looking for somebody with 6+ years of strong experience and knowledge of the following disciplines:

•    Web management
•    Campaign management
•    Project management
•    Content strategy and/or content design
•    Stakeholder communications

It would be beneficial to also have knowledge of:

•    UX/UI best practices
•    SEO
•    Data and analytics
•    Digital communications

A background in financial services is beneficial but not required. Experience in corporate communications or a highly regulated industry is also helpful, but not mandatory.

This role is based in our offices at Changi Business Park. We take a flexible approach with hybrid working to be agreed with your line manager
