Job Summary
The role exists to act as a Senior Engineering Analyst / IT Business Analyst for HR technology initiatives, ensuring business needs are clearly understood, documented, and translated into actionable technology requirements. It supports successful delivery of HR systems and SaaS/cloud-based solutions by collaborating with stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams across requirements, impact assessment, solution design, governance, data management, AI/ML alignment, testing, and production support. The role helps ensure solutions are compliant, integrated, scalable, and aligned with Standard Chartered’ s architecture, security, data, and delivery standards.
Key Responsibilities
As an engineering IT BA in Standard Chartered/Individual contributor the role will require to perform the following tasks.
• Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with all stakeholders (vendors and interfacing teams within SCB) to understand the project objective, scope, processes impacted and detailed requirements
• Documentation of requirements: Translate the business needs into clear and comprehensive requirements: BRD, FSD/user stories. Facilitate communication amongst vendors and all impacted teams in SCB to ensure there is common understanding of the project requirements and seek sign off from all stakeholders involved
• Impact Assessment: Conduct thorough analysis of existing systems/processes and workflows to clearly state out the impact of doing this change
• Solution Design and Architecture: Have a good understanding of the e2e flow, architecture and help with the Solution Intent documentation clearly drafting out the current architecture diagram, impact to the current architecture and future state. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend how systems should integrate in cloud env
• Helping with the Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning deep dive sessions/engagements including reviewing the recommended guidelines and ensuring vendor teams are in alignment to the recommended AI/ML best practises and processes followed by Standard Chartered. This also includes running test scenarios with business for trends and analysis of the data for key decision making
• Data Management -reviewing the data handling practises from the vendor to ensure they adhere to the data protection regulation and best practises defined by Standard Chartered bank.
• Governance activities – work with the project team to help them with Standard chartered review forums around architecture, security reviews and AI/ML components
• Supporting the testing and warranty/hyper care phase including production incidents deep dive
• Techno/functional Support for SCB’s Service Bench application will require working closely with business stakeholders and Service Bench technical team to evaluate requirements , perform feasibility assessment and deliver optimum technology solution leveraging SCB in house capabilities on Service Bench.

Key Experiences
• 10+ years of professional experience as an engineering IT BA.
• Must have good experience on Human Resources Application/Systems (HRMS) , preferably SuccessFactors Employee Central.
• Able to understand business requirements and translate into actions/documentations.
• Good understanding of the Saas/ cloud-based applications and how they integrate
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure/architecture.
• Able to understand the big picture, complexities that come with
• Technical background in software engineering and delivery is good to have.
• Effective interpersonal, communication skills to articulate at different levels of organization hierarchy
• Strong relationship management experience with influencing and negotiation skills.
