Job Summary
- This position is part of the Capital Markets Product & Solution (CMPS) team, supporting dealing desks across Structured products, FX, Fixed Income and Equites. The role is responsible for all deal and order-related activities, including close liaison with Front Office and other stakeholders. The incumbent will focus on providing timely and accurate dealing support while ensuring strict adherence to internal policies, compliance requirements and market risk controls throughout the trade life cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day trade capture & booking, validation, and lifecycle management for capital markets products (Structured products, FX, Fixed Income, Equities)
- Perform trade reconciliation, investigation and resolve breaks promptly.
- Monitor and manage trade events (Amend & Cancel, late trade booking, trade unwinding, corporate actions etc…)
- Support daily P&L and risk checking
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Liaison with different external & internal stakeholders (Issuers, front, middle and back offices mainly)
- Assist in process enhancement, automation initiatives, and control improvements
- Support new product launches, system enhancements, projects and UAT testing.
- Prepare regular reports MIS for management
Ideal candidate
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred (Finance, Business, Economics, or related technical discipline)
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in the financial industry, preferably in Middle Office / Trade Support or related capital markets functions.
- Practical Knowledge of Structured products, foreign exchange (FX), Fixed income products (FI), Equites
- Strong understanding of trade lifecycle from execution to settlement
- Proficiency in VBA for process automation, reporting and data analysis; Advanced Excel skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with various stakeholders
- Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin (spoken and written)
Licensing Requirement
- Hong Kong Type 1 and Type 4 Licenses are required (or candidate must be eligible to obtain licenses within a specified timeframe after joining)
