Job Summary
• Manage critical operational processes and controls and deliver a high-quality settlement and clearing service.
• Execute trade settlement and clearing, cash & trade reconciliation, record filing and quality checking.
• Ensure processing of all transaction with accuracy and timely manner.
• Accountable for accurate NAV calculation and posting accounting entries in relation to Asset Management Scheme.
• Resolve queries raised by clients and stakeholders and develop strong working relationship with them.
• Ensure that operating instructions, checklists, SLA are kept up to date to ensure practicing of the same.
• Identify and highlight the open risk areas in the process and highlight the same to management and work towards addressing the risk.
Key Responsibilities
Business
• Support Brokerage business daily trading activities and perform daily trade settlement and clearing, cash & trade reconciliation.
• Prepare daily, monthly and quarterly regulatory reports and other internal management reports.
• Prepare daily client statements.
• Maintain Exchange, inter-bank markets and Clearing house membership, settlement accounts and bank accounts.
• Support internal and external audit, Business Continuity Management, third party risk management, contract management, and other tasks and activities in COO area.
• Ensure all control/operating procedure and documentations are properly followed.
• Review regularly and improve current BAU processes and Department Operating Instructions.
• Communicate and discuss operational issues and activities with clients, business stakeholders, external parties, and other internal and external supporting functions.
• Understand securities markets and securities products.

Qualifications
• Education - Bachelor or above
• Certifications - The successful candidate needs to hold China securities qualification certificate or get the qualification certificate during probation.
• Languages - Chinese & English
Skills and Experience
• Knowledge of PRC Securities Law
• Understanding of the key features of relevant laws and regulations in China where relevant business is conducted
• Experience in securities brokerage, securities dealing and trading, asset management, securities services and corporate finance
• 3-5 years of working experience in operation support, settlement and clearing, or Asset Management Scheme Accounting in China domestic market
• Familiar with trade processing systems (such as Root net, quant) or Financial Asset Custody systems used in local China market
• Oral and written English and Mandarin Chinese
