Job Description: 

Job Summary

Role Purpose

•    To provide a one-stop User Acceptance Test (UAT) solution with deep understanding of local business and test automation expertise.
•     Represent business on UAT and focus on end-to-end testing
•     Leverage test automation to extend test coverage & shorten time to market

Key Responsibilities

•    Review test strategy and test plan;
•    Plan test activities properly;
•    Review and analyse business requirements / user stories, identify testing scope, and work out test plan;
•    Help business improve business requirements / user stories;
•    Design test scenarios / test cases per requirement;
•    Execute test cases;
•    Develop high level design for test automation;
•    Develop maintainable common functions and utilities for project;
•    Develop maintainable, reusable, and scalable test scripts per provided test cases;
•    Build up test pipeline;
•    Raise defects with clear reproduce steps, and track defects to closure; 
•    Lead a small team to complete assigned tasks;
•    Provide guidance to junior staffs and deliver training;
•    Assist in staff hiring;
•    Define / update procedures and templates;
•    Maintain good cooperative relationship with stakeholders, e.g. to establish effective communication channels, collaboratively establish clear goals and expectations, and resolve conflicts, etc

Qualifications

Key Experiences:    
•    Minimum 3 years of experience in manual testing and test automation;
•    Knowledge of QA and testing standards, methodologies, test automation tools and processes;
•    Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills;
•    Knowledge in Python / Java, Git, Selenium, Jenkins;
•    Knowledge in database skills is an advantage;
•    Experience in Banking or related financial technology domain;
•    Prior work experience on Retail Banking systems and online banking systems is a plus;
•    Good stakeholder management skills in handling wide ranging stakeholders across segments/product areas;
•    Experience working across globally distributed development and test teams is a plus;

Languages:    
•    Good English communication skills
•    Understanding of both Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese;
•    Cantonese speaking is an advantage
