Job Summary

•    We are looking for a Backend Specialist, responsible for the development and maintenance of in-house applications. You will be working alongside with other Engineers and Developers working on different layers of the Applications.  Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.

Key Responsibilities

•    A minimum of 6+ years experience in in IT industry with Strong professional API development experience using RESTful webservices style, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate/Spring JPA with JSON data.
•    Strong experience in creating defining Swagger specs for REST APIs, understanding REST principles and Guidelines.
•    Good Knowledge & understanding in AWS cloud or any cloud technology.
•    Expert knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL.
•    Good knowledge in API Integration using Solace / any other messaging PubSub models. 
•    Should be able to come up with Technical Solution diagrams and Architecture for initiatives.
•    Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices, including CI/CD pipeline deployment, containerisation technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS / Azure.
•    Experience in Implementing unit testing frameworks like Junit.
•    Strong version control skills using tools like Git, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of code quality through reviews and automated tests.
•    Experience with continuous delivery systems and build tools – GIT, ADO/ Azure pipelines, Gradle/Maven etc.,
•    Good Knowledge & understanding on UNIX/LINUX commands.
•    Experience with working in Agile environment.
