Job Summary
We are looking for a highly proficient Product Specialist with expertise in FX Derivatives to join our dynamic Wealth Digital Products and Proposition Domain team. This pivotal role requires bridging business strategy with technological execution to deliver robust, efficient, and innovative software solutions that meet clientele and regulatory demands.
The successful candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of capital markets, notably within Wealth Management products, and demonstrate a technical acumen to oversee complex derivative platforms. Your role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams including technology leads, product owners, and regulatory specialists to ensure seamless delivery and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Efficiently manage and configure the FX Derivatives platform to ensure exceptional performance, uptime, and reliability in alignment with business objectives.
- Lead collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement new features that enhance functionality and user experience within the FX Derivatives domain.
- Ensure all platform capabilities comply with relevant business requirements, regulatory mandates, and internal policies through rigorous validation and continuous improvements.
- Proactively troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues to maintain platform integrity and client satisfaction.
- Conduct systematic upgrades, apply security patches, and perform maintenance operations to uphold system security standards and operational efficiency.
- Thoroughly test and validate new enhancements to assure high quality and reliability of deliverables prior to deployment.
- Maintain compliance with the bank’s cybersecurity frameworks, data privacy regulations, and legal requirements to minimize risks and safeguard assets.
- Collaborate extensively with interfacing systems' teams to guarantee fluid integration, data accuracy, and operational cohesiveness.
Regulatory & Business Conduct

Additional responsibilities include advocating for and embedding the Group’s brand values within IT projects, complying fully with Group, Country, Business, and Functional policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Essential qualifications for this role include:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a closely related discipline from a recognised institution.
- At least 8 years of comprehensive and relevant experience, notably in managing FX Derivatives within the financial services sector.
- Proven expertise with FX Derivatives processes and platforms, demonstrating applied knowledge in day-to-day operations and product delivery.
- Familiarity with Margin Management systems is highly desirable and an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience working in an agile delivery framework, with a solid understanding and application of Scrum methodologies to ensure iterative and high-quality software development.
Skills and Experience
Candidates should demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Strong proficiency in SQL and the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, to analyse and present relevant data effectively.
- Experience and practical knowledge of ADO (Azure DevOps) and Confluence to support agile project management and documentation needs.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail, underpinned by a systematic and structured approach to challenges.
- Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities, with the ability to adjust messaging appropriately across diverse audiences including technical teams, management, and external stakeholders.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills to engage, influence, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at various organisational levels.
- Technical familiarity with RESTful APIs enabling seamless integration and data exchange between systems.
- Robust understanding of Scrum methodology, including the principles, components, and practical application to software product development processes.
- Experience in Software Change Request Management, adept at handling product change requests originating from customers, vendors, and internal sources efficiently and transparently.
