Job Summary
• We are looking for a Senior QA/Test Automation Engineer with extensive experience in automation testing, framework design, and quality engineering best practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving automation initiatives, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, stable, and efficient testing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and perform API and UI automation testing using Cucumber (BDD) and custom automation frameworks.
• Independently manage automation projects — including requirement analysis, script development, debugging, execution, and reporting.
• Enhance and optimize existing automation frameworks, driving efficiency improvements and reducing test maintenance efforts.
• Implement continuous integration and continuous testing pipelines with tools such as Jenkins and Git, ensuring seamless automation execution.
• Manage and participate in the end-to-end testing lifecycle — including test strategy, requirement validation, test design, execution, defect tracking, and closure.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional Agile teams (developers, business analysts, and product owners) to ensure quality delivery.
• Drive adoption of QA best practices, shift-left testing, and automation-driven validation.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members on automation frameworks, code reviews, and test strategy improvements.
• Actively contribute to root cause analysis, continuous process improvement, and test innovation initiatives.
• Maintain strong alignment with project timelines and deliverables under fast-paced, Agile environments.
People & Talent
• 9+ years of diversified experience in manual and automation testing, specializing in mobile and web application automation frameworks.
• Expert in designing and implementing scalable test automation frameworks and reusable test components.
• Proficient in Java, JavaScript, and SQL with strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Appium, Playwright, and Cucumber (BDD) frameworks.
• Skilled in integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Git, and related DevOps tools.
• Strong understanding of software quality engineering principles, Agile methodologies, and SDLC/STLC processes.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience mentoring junior engineers and managing test deliverables across distributed teams.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and result-driven professional with a passion for continuous improvement and test excellence.
