Job Summary
We are seeking an ambitious and driven Associate Relationship Manager (ARM) to join our dynamic Corporate & Institutional Banking team. Working closely with the Senior Banker, the ARM will play a pivotal role in originating new business, deepening existing client relationships, and driving strategic client engagement across our international network.
This role offers a unique opportunity to shape client strategy, manage risk, and be at the forefront of cross-functional collaboration across products and geographies.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive client origination efforts and cross-sell opportunities in coordination with the Senior Banker.
- Act as a key relationship point internally and externally, ensuring consistent client engagement.
- Understand client needs, buying behaviors, and strategic goals to inform tailored solutions.
- Support onboarding and prospecting of new clients, including strategic input into account planning.
- Lead internal deal teams including Field Account Managers, Product Partners, Legal, and Risk.
- Drive efficient deal structuring, documentation, approvals, and execution.
- Ensure exemplary post-deal management, compliance with conditions, and continuous monitoring
- Be a trusted enabler for internal partners, proactively removing roadblocks to deal conversion.
- Act as the first point of contact for internal teams and clients on day-to-day matters.
Skills and Experience
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in a banking or financial services role, ideally within corporate or institutional banking.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- Languages: Fluency in English; Dutch or a Nordic language is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of: Nordic/Dutch corporate banking landscape preferred.
- Strong understanding of credit risk, financial analysis, and client strategy formulation.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive strategic client engagement.
