Title: Associate Director, Transaction Banking Sales - Cash Solutions

Job Summary
As Standard Chartered Bank continues to expand its footprint in the Northern Europe region, we are looking for an Associate Director, Transaction Banking Sales to join our Transaction Bank team in Stockholm.
In this role you will own and manage client relationships from a Transaction Banking Cash Solutions perspective, who are domiciled in the Northern Europe area alongside with the Dutch clients. For some of the clients, you will be also covering them from the Trade Sales coverage perspective.
Key Responsibilities
• Drive ‘new to bank’ revenues and product/market penetration with the assigned portfolio of Cash clients at global, regional, or local buying centres
• Pro-actively lead Transaction Banking opportunity development with the wider Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) team.
• Assume complete ownership of client level revenue for Cash
• Identify Clients’ needs, prepare and lead client pitches
• Act as a trusted advisor – you will be the ‘go to’ person for your clients when they seek strategic Transaction Banking advice
• Support clients with necessary credit & compliance approvals on credit application process when necessary
• Ensure, in cooperation with other teams, that the clients receive the best-in-class client servicing and support
• Effectively cooperate and build strong credibility with key stakeholders from Credit, Risk, Relationship Manager, Operations, Compliance and Product Management teams
Skills and Experience
• 5 years’ experience in the banking industry in the sales role covering Nordic corporate clients
• Prior Cash Sales experience is required
• Good understanding of the client landscape in the Nordics countries and trends in the region
• Deep knowledge of the wide range of Transaction Banking products (Cash and Trade)
• Familiarity with Structuring solutions and with managing relevant documentation
• Strong understanding of credit and credit application process
• Ability to work effectively with clients i.e. foster existing client relations, understand and identify client business needs, and proactively drive and deliver on opportunities
• Great communication and stakeholder management skills
• Commercial mindset, analytical skills, hands-on and solutions-oriented approach
• Fluency in English is a must, any language spoken in the Nordics countries will be considered an asset
