Job Summary
Coordination of activities associated with occupational health, safety, and wellbeing management. The implementation and compliance with SCB Group Health, Safety and Security Policy and ensuring that SCB meets local health, safety, and well-being legal requirements throughout the country.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Country HSW Associate / Coordinator is responsible to ensure that the Group Health, Safety and Security Policy in Country. The Country HSW Associate / Coordinator shall:
• Ensured H&S requirements comply with local regulations and internal HSW standard. H&S management system well-maintained and reported, reduce operation risk and avoid any EHS violation.
• Ensure that all fit out and refurbishment projects are reviewed from HSW risks and efficiency perspectives.
• Conducted on-site risk inspection of all sites, assessed environmental quality, and improved accordingly.
• Ensure that a process compliant with relevant Group HSW standards are implemented for carrying out HSW related due diligence for new leases and acquisitions to ensure that new premises are free of significant HSW risks and are environmentally efficient.
• Ensure that environmental monitoring and performance reporting is implemented.
• Conducted H&S training for new joiners and fire safety awareness training for all fire wardens, also arranged fire safety plan and drills implement every year.
• Ensure that a process, compliant with relevant Group standards, is implemented for reporting, investigating and implementing corrective actions for accidents and incidents.
• Arranged the distribution and stock of PPE and proposed epidemic prevention guidance in Pandemic Working Group.
• Provide professional advice, training, and liaison to ensure that employees at all levels understand their responsibilities and help them to conduct their activities in a safe manner with due regard to the environment in which they work.
• Maintain a HSW audit and assessment program to assess compliance with Group standards and Local legal requirements. Provide professional opinion, recommendations for corrective action and monitor closure of corrective actions.
• Liaise with external parties on H&S matters.
• Participate in Group HSW related activities as relevant.
• Report on the progress with managing HSW risk and Environmental performance to Group HSW and Group Environment & relevant country parties on a timely manner.

- CERTIFICATIONS Class-1 Manager of Occupational Safety and Health Affairs
- Indoor air Quality Management Professionals
- Fire Warden
- LANGUAGES English (Fluent)
