Title: Director, Product Manager, Financing & Securities Services

JOB SUMMARY
The Product Manager is responsible for the development, commercialisation, delivery and implementation of products within Financial Markets (FM), including infrastructure and platforms supporting the products. To drive product development and business growth for Financing & Securities Services in Taiwan
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy
Product Innovation and Strategy
• Manage and grow FM products revenue across Financial Markets
• Review and optimise existing products, platforms and processes to ensure leading market position
• Develop product strategy for products under management to meet global objectives, in line with the overall FM strategy (e.g., sustainability agenda, digital strategy)
• Drive continuous product enhancements, key client conversations and co-create product solutions with key clients
• Work closely with Trading, Sales and Structuring teams in identifying business opportunities, translating ideas into products, defining structure features (e.g., domicile, regulatory, liquidity), conducting competitor research and defining pricing strategy
• Work closely with Regional teams to drive product sales and delivery
• Manage and develop external partnerships to enhance products offering and client experience
• Keep abreast with industry developments and market trends to enhance product offerings
Product Marketing
• Drive product placement strategies, leveraging our footprint and building on CCIB industry focus
• Develop appropriate sales and marketing material, including pitchbooks, product sheets and educational information
• Assist the training of FM Sales staff and RMs in relevant FM products and platforms
• Represent the Group and FM product strategy to internal and external stakeholders, including media, clients, regulator and industry associations
Technology
• Work with Technology and Operations to design and implement platforms / ecosystem to support FM products
• Keep abreast of and utilise emerging technologies and innovations to improve product offerings and meet evolving client needs
Business
• Understand the needs of customers and prospects and assist to implement structures and solutions to meet these needs.
• Collaborate with operations, client servicing and implementation teams to improve overall service standards and to ensure that quality of service to customers remains superior.
• Maintain high level client interaction.
• Review local regulations pertaining to securities market movements, and construct product ideas and communicate to the wider teams.
Processes
• Ensure that country product managers maintain the product programmes and database as per zero tolerance guidelines.
• Provide support to operations ensuring internal audit standards are followed and reflected in process guides.
Risk, Regulatory and Governance
• Ensure credit, operational, legal, regulatory, reputation, compliance are held to the highest standards of risk management (at a product and enterprise level as relevant)
• Keep abreast with regulatory changes to ensure FM products are compliant with relevant risk management guideline an provide advisory support to clients.

• Executes projects by managing stakeholder engagement, resources, risk, budgets and resolving problems using Agile methodologies.
• Industry Knowledge
• Understands and formulates the Bank’s perspectives on the intricacies of key client industries (e.g., trends, directions, major issues, regulatory considerations, trendsetters).
• Partnership Management
• Builds cooperative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders within the Bank and the broader financial services sector, leveraging relations to meet the Bank’s objectives.
Pricing
• Utilisespricing scenarios and valuation models to identify optimal pricing levels and develop commercially viable pricing strategies for products and solutions.
• Product Design and Development
• Designs, builds, and develops new products / services from concept through to production and post production refinements.
• Understands the end-to-end client journey, adopts a human-centric mindset and incorporates user-experience design principles into product development.
Sales
• Leverages diverse tools and techniques to understand the needs and motivations of clients, prepare and present pitches / proposals to recommend products / services and close deals.
• Identifies cross-selling and upselling opportunities and creates additional sales.
