JOB SUMMARY
Regulatory report submission and risk control management
• Regulatory report submission and risk control management.
• Assist financial report and annual report preparation.
• Assist regulators’ audit matters.
• Deal with inquiries or ad hoc request from regulators and internal stakeholders.
• To undertake periodic risk assessment, compliance assessment exercise on key controls to assess the proper functioning and adequacy of operational risk controls.
Assist ad hoc jobs assigned by line manager
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy Awareness and understanding of the Group & Country Finance strategy and model appropriate to the role.
Business Awareness and understanding of Taiwan regulations, accounting bookkeeping and internal/external audit requirements in which the Country operates.
Processes Responsible for executing and supervising the regulatory reporting submission process.
People & Talent Successor/ potential talent of regulatory reporting team lead.
Risk Management The ability to interpret both Group and Country's financial information, identify key issues based on this information and conduct adequate controls and measures in place.
Governance Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the Country regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to deliver effective governance, oversight and controls.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
