JOB SUMMARY
Trade Settlement

•    To perform clerical jobs as assigned by the section supervisor in accordance with their instructions, DOI , Group Policy
•    To report any problems encountered to section supervisor for guidance
•    To maintain high quality of work at all times in enhancing the Group image
•    To keep in contact with counterparty if necessary while performing daily work 
•    Complete mandatory training 12 hours every 3 years
•    To complete trust license register and trust training to meet local regulation requirements 

General

•    Contribute good ideas and participate in projects to improve working efficiency.
•    Report any suspicious transactions on Money Laundering to supervisors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Ensure efficient and accurate processing of daily trade settlement / SBL transactions.
•    Receive broker confirmations 
•    Contact with brokers on trade settlement issues.
•    Perform T+1 market affirmation & T+2 settlement
•    Support physical certificate settlement, if any.
•    Support Mutual Fund settlement. 
•    Support Bond settlement.
•    Prepare and despatch monthly invoices to broker on FISC commission. 
•    Collect FISC commission from broker and post relevant entries. 
•     Filing of daily trade settlement documents.
•    Client Report preparation
•    Project Support, if any.

•    To simplify daily manual process.

•    Support daily business to provide client solutions.

•    Ensure BAU is accurate and timely completed.  Focus on simplification and efficiency to reduce manual work.

•    Co-work with team members and share knowledge with each other.

Risk Management
•    Ensure follow DOI to prevent risks and escalate any potential issues to discuss with manager.

Governance
•    Escalate any issues to manager and department head.

•    Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. •    Lead to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles 
•    Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Qualifications

Experiences

•    Experiences in custody business responsible for international or domestic settlement, SBL knowledge is a plus
•    Experiences in a securities firm with SBL knowledge
•    Payment knowledge is a plus
