Role Summary
We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to support hiring for our Private Banking business. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, driving end‑to‑end recruitment activity and ensuring we attract, assess, and hire high-calibre talent aligned to our business and regulatory standards.
This role requires a strong understanding of front‑office Private Banking profiles, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to navigate a highly regulated, client‑centric environment.
Role Responsibilities
- Partner with Private Banking leadership and HR Business Partners to understand workforce plans, hiring needs, and role requirements.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for roles across Relationship Management, Investment Specialists, Product, and Support functions within Private Banking.
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies using a mix of direct search, talent pools, referrals, and selected external partners.
- Screen, assess, and shortlist candidates against technical capabilities, behavioural competencies, and cultural fit.
- Ensure a high‑quality candidate experience and act as a brand ambassador for the bank in all external interactions.
- Advise hiring managers on market insights, candidate availability, salary benchmarking, and selection best practices.
- Coordinate and manage interview processes, feedback sessions, and selection decisions.
- Support offer development and negotiation within internal guidelines and approval frameworks.
- Maintain accurate, timely data in the applicant tracking system and produce regular hiring reports and insights.
- Ensure all recruitment activity complies with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and data privacy standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in Talent Acquisition, including process optimisation, employer branding, and diversity hiring.
Role Requirements
- University degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Professional HR or recruitment certification is an advantage but not essential.
- Proven experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment, ideally within financial services or Private Banking/Wealth Management.
- Strong understanding of front‑office Private Banking roles and the skills required to succeed in a client‑facing, regulated environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage end‑to‑end recruitment processes for mid to senior‑level roles.
- Confident stakeholder management skills, with experience advising and influencing senior leaders.
- Strong sourcing capability, including direct search and building talent pipelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the bank professionally in all external engagements.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining high quality and compliance standards.
