Job Summary

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Associate, Risk Assessment, to join our CFCC Risk Assessment team in the Americas. This role will support the analysis, reporting, and governance of the US Risk Assessment framework, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory expectations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in analyzing and reporting on annual US CFCC Risk Assessments.
  • Support the coordination and governance of US Risk Assessment processes.
  • Ensure the US Risk Assessment framework aligns with the Group Risk Assessment methodology.
  • Provide analytical summaries from risk assessment methodologies.
  • Support the CFCC Americas Risk Assessment team in control inventory reviews and alignment with control testing frameworks.
  • Manage issues by mapping them to control inventory for appropriate inclusion in assessments.
  • Assist in drafting category-level write-ups for risk assessment reports.
  • Conduct analysis and documentation for Inherent Risk Assessment in the US Risk Assessment.
  • Develop control effectiveness documentation and cross-train on assessments.
  • Track and manage the Risk Assessment Plan, ensuring timely completion.
  • Prepare dashboards and reports for senior management and relevant committees.
  • Promote a culture of openness, trust, and risk awareness.
  • Apply Group and FCC Policies to manage risks effectively.
  • Provide risk management recommendations and insights.
  • Assess risks arising from products, segments, geographies, customers, and transactions.
  • Validate analytical models and provide feedback for enhancements.
  • Support the delivery of annual FCC Risk Assessments for the Americas.
  • Attend and contribute to relevant meetings.
  • Identify lessons learned and propose process improvements.
  • Uphold exemplary conduct in line with the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines.

Expected annual base pay range for the role is 57,194 USD to 85,791 USD. The final offer will be determined on an individualised basis using a number of variables, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience and education, internal relativity, and specific work location. At Standard Chartered Bank, Base pay is only part of the total compensation package.
