JOB SUMMARY
- Mainly responsible for branch sales performance management including daily sales activities.
The Role Responsibilities
- Acquisition
- Evaluate current branch book to effectively categorize customers based on the decile analysis method. Formulate plans on how to cross sell to increase EP from higher deciles and manage lower deciles
- Acquire new customers from the market place with the help of the sales team
- Manage and motivate the team
- Strategize and direct the PBRM to acquire and maintain high networth customers in the affluent segments through Telesales as well as face to face sales.
- Acquire new Priority Banking relationships based on thresholds and cross sell full suite of products to the client
- Provide regular training on Products and Selling skills
- Plan and execute the activations programs (road shows) for new to Bank customers
Monitoring Performance
- Develop a formal monitoring mechanism to measure the productivity of each sales person using CEMS & Contact Log.
- Monitor Call Reporting of the PBRM on a daily basis.
- Monitor the quality of sourcing of products to evaluate developmental needs of the sales teams.
- Drive the sales system towards quality standards where risks are well controlled.
- Derive insights to Competitor Sales activities and effectively counter the efforts.
- Continuously upgrade and innovate sales techniques to maximize productivity.

- Manage and mentor the sales teams to carry a single minded objective
- Motivate and develop the team.
- Evaluate training programs available and recommend the appropriate programs for differential training needs
- Development and counseling needs for staff
Controls
Ensure that the Money Laundering requirements are followed as follows:-
a) Ensure positive customer experience on CDD related issues
b) Retain adequate records of identification for all transactions handled
c) Make prompt reports of suspicious transactions using the right internal channels
Qualification
- Graduate with 4 years Banking / Financial Services experience.
- At least 3 years excellent performance in a Branch role and/ or sales role
- Well developed strategic perspective and forward planning ability
- Highly developed networking and negotiation abilities
- Analytical and problem solving skills coupled with decision making ability
- Advanced interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent leadership and team building qualities.
