Job Description: 

Job Summary

•    In depth functional knowledge in Network payment Settlement for respective schemes/interchange to process Settlement accounting for Debit card/Credit Card and Wallet to support multiple markets and manage daily business as Usual.
•    Good knowledge on Recon monitoring for Settlement related accounts to ensure we have effective control on recon of accounts with minimal ageing. 
•    In depth knowledge on MCBS and VIBS Fee/ charges.
•    Good Knowledge on Nostro Account and Swift Transactions.
•    In depth knowledge in basic accounting theories of Journal Voucher 
•    EOD/SOD Monitoring.
•    Control Framework for all the processes and products being handled.
•    Timely reporting of Issues if any.
•    Process reviews to identify the Gaps and further fixes.
•    Initiatives to improve the efficiencies across products and processes.
•    Monthly or Quarterly Performance review and should have clear document against agreed KPI for the year, reflect on Score Card, Overall governance/risk/training completions.
•    List out P1/P2/M7/Non M7 incidents/Complaints/Errors tagged against respective individuals and document the same along with performance-based judgement.
•    List out initiatives, change management, standardisation and proactive measures along with performance-based judgement.
•    Clear documentation on areas which the staff is doing good and areas which needs improvement in Success Factor portal.
•    Issues (M7 and Non M7) which impacts service delivery, customer experience and transaction reconciliation should be clearly documented along with FADP issuance or Performance Improvement Plan as applicable.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy
•    Appraise and contribute to the development of the Bank’s strategic plans.
•    Work with all key stakeholders to deliver operations strategic initiative, change management, standardisation, and proactive measures along with performance-based judgement for 
•    Define key performance indicators (KPI) and track progress on strategic initiatives
•    Able to drive business goals among team members as per action plan and timelines percolated down
•    Provides ground level inputs to fit for purpose plans and upward feedback as a reality check for implementation
Business
•    Ability to standardize and optimize processes across markets 
•    Strategic perspective and full understanding of Policies, Procedures and Guidelines – Visa / MC and other Networks 
•    Work with stakeholders to operationalise the new products/ process  and draw up a process flow
•    Contributes to and implements changes to policies and procedures.
•    Researches and takes into account industry and product developments.
Processes
•    Instinctive grasp gained out of experience of linkages between sub processes and related ability to identify gaps arising from any process change 
•    Receive environmental (regulatory , credit, market) news and evaluate processes to see if improvement is needed to meet new challenges
•    Ability to take quick decision to ensure accurate follow up with member bank & Franchise & Other networks for Exception handling & ensure closure
•    Actively provide input for process improvements and ability to sponsor automation and implementation of end state process

•    Ability to translate process feature into system functionality.
•    Takes well informed risks to pursue activities with a superior return

•    Coaching to key employees to build bench strength and ensure adequate succession planning.
•    Applying Situational leadership to ensure that the approach for each segment of employees are different.

•    Develops and implements strategies to build the capability and performance of employees at team and Business Unit levels

Risk Management
•    Ensure deeper understanding of transaction processing risks and provide management intervention
•    Understand the Risk Dynamics, Global pressure points, stress in Market environment, Risk on global macro economics and its impact on operations
•    Understand and implement the Group risk management policies, processes and structures
•    Highlight to Management and stakeholders business risk, evaluate impact and design/ execute actions to mitigate same.
•    Ability to involve other business functions in resolving/ mitigating risk issues
•    Understands and ensures awareness business policies, standard procedures and best practices
•    Active management of operational losses and provide a sustainable fix

Governance
•    To comply as per Operational Risk Management and Assurance Model  
•    Implement robust internal controls to mitigate financial risk and ensure compliance and other recon related standards
•    Issues (M7 and Non M7) which impacts service delivery, customer experience and transaction reconciliation should be clearly documented along with FADP issuance or Performance Improvement Plan as applicable.
