Job Description: 

Job Summary

• Drive technology initiatives and enhancements for the Custody Operations environment, including client implementations, technology deployments and regulatory/mandatory changes. 
• Translate business requirements into robust, stable and scalable technical solutions in partnership with Technology, Product and Operations. 
• Provide hands-on senior development expertise across Java/J2EE, Scala, data platforms and integration technologies, while supporting implementation readiness, release delivery and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Senior Data Development and Solution Delivery
• Produce/review BRDs, FRDs and user stories; coordinate and/or perform UAT; coordinate implementation; design robust, stable and scalable solutions; and ensure solutions are documented and communicated to impacted parties.
• Support release planning, execution and post-implementation review; ensure Operations readiness; collaborate to improve processes; manage stakeholder relationships across Product, Technology and Risk; assess operational impact of new deals; meet tight deadlines/budgets; and take ownership during crisis situations.

• DevOps & Containers (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Rundeck)
• Custody Operations & Trade Settlement

Qualifications

• 6+ years Hadoop platform development; relevant Custody Operations / Business Analysis / Project Management experience; strong Custody and trade settlement knowledge; proven analytical/problem-solving capability; experience with cost-saving and/or risk-mitigation initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology Engineering or closely related field, or equivalent education/experience. Source JD also states: PG - Any Postgraduate in Any Specialization.
• Languages: English, Chinese
