Job Summary
• Manage, coordinate, and oversee the various test phases as mandated by bank’s unified test control framework and System Delivery Framework.
• Extensive experience in Preparation of Estimation, Test Strategy, Test plan, Test Scenarios, Test Scripts, Test Data, Test Summary Reports, and other.
• Day to day management of change requests in relation to the project plans to ensure agreed deadlines are met.
• Foster strong working & collaborative relationships with the business & technology stakeholders.
• Align Test activities with the overall project plan and change agenda of the wider program
• Effectively communicate to stakeholders the test status, highlight risks, and propose issue resolution
• Ensure transition from Technology Testing to the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase
• Develop test automation frameworks, tools and test suites in response to growing features
• Champion best practice engineering principles to build high quality software
• Be an integral part of an Agile engineering team and work collaboratively with fellow engineers and product owners
• Mentor & provide guidance to members in testing methodologies
• Good knowledge of Java development and OOPs
• Proven experience in Software Quality Engineering and Test processes, including modern CI processes and Test Automation
• Well-versed with Agile methodology and global delivery model
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ensure the quality and timeliness of delivery of testing assignments
• Mitigate risks to business through timely and precise execution of test cases in testing
• Retest defects after fixes. Under moderate supervision execute tests to ensure that information systems and services meet group standards and end-user requirements
Key Responsibilities
Strategy
• Define and implement test strategies, plans, and processes for complex projects.
• Lead and mentor a team of testers, providing technical guidance and support.
• Coordinate with development, business, and project management teams to ensure quality deliverables.
• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.
• Manage defect tracking, reporting, and resolution processes.
• Ensure test environments and test data are prepared and maintained.
• Monitor and report on test progress, quality metrics, and risks.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and tools.
• Ensure compliance with organizational quality standards and best practices.

Skills and Experience
• BI Tools like MicroStrategy, Power BI, Tableau
• Programming skills like Python, Scala, or Java for custom ETL and automation
• Good to know Cloud Platforms like AWS (Glue, Redshift, S3, Lambda), Azure (Data Factory, Synapse), or GCP (Dataflow, BigQuery)
• Data Visualization/Reporting like Tableau, Power BI, Looker
• Workflow Orchestration like Apache Airflow, Control-M, or similar schedulers
• API Integration like REST/SOAP APIs for ingesting or pushing data
• Very good verbal and written communication skills
• Hands-on experience in API testing & developing automation test script for mobile or tablet devices using Appium.
• Good understanding of Linux operating system and hands on work experience in Linux operating system is desirable
• Ability to identify new testing techniques and tools.
