Job Summary

Understand the Business, functional and Technical requirement and specification, identify gap in the requirement to provide feedback and track to closure of the gap in requirement.
•    Complete the development and testing in Java base on requirement for FM Data Platform. 
•    Support SIT/UAT/DR and go live activities on project level.
•    Stakeholders engagement and the status reporting preparation.
•    Manage defect triage and correlate symptoms with likely causes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Graduate or Master in software engineer related major. At least 8 years of extensive experience on backend technology.

Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of extensive experience on backend technology
    o Extensive hands-on programming experience in Java
    o Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
    o Very strong understanding of multi-thread and multi-core design patterns with specific focus on concurrency and messaging patterns, instrumentation and error recovery and management.
    o Working knowledge of streaming/data pipeline tools such as Kafka
    o Microservices implementation experience with focus on domain driven design.
    o Spring Boot, Spring Cloud and Netflix OSS experience.
    o Prior experience using Redis, ElasticSearch and Grafana
    o RESTful API design and development.
    o Hands on experience and knowledge on relational databases(Oracle and/or PostgreSQL)
    o Familiarity and working experience with Openshift container platform and/or AWS will be an added advantage    Advanced 
    Front-end technologies, with specific focus on:
    o ReactJS with experience developing front end and dashboard applications
    o MVC design experience running on Single Page Application (SPA)
    o CSS/JavaScript/HTML5/JQuery
    o Debugging and troubleshooting of UI application performances and optimization.
    o Experience in design patterns and concurrency design for UI application.   
    Good experience in using TDD and test framework such as Mockito, JUnit.   
    Good understanding and practical experience in continuous integration, with specific focus on automated build/integration and performance testing via Jenkins and deployment of packages using CI/CD tools (Ansible, Vagrant, Chef etc.)   
    Successful delivery of FM strategic and regulatory change projects within ITO   
    Proactive issue identification, prioritization and resolution   
    Strong and positive influence on direction and success of front to back business change agenda   
    Contribution to significant advances in operational capability for processing of OTC derivatives   
    Clear and appropriate communication with front to back stakeholders   
    Low occurrence of operating incidents in production environment due to functional issues   
    Project assignment delivery   
    Experience in workflow development, Camunda framework development is preferred.    Advanced
